Cicapair Sensitive Skin Korean Face Moisturizer for Redness and Barrier Repair with Centella Asiatica | Korean Skin Care

When my skin is being very sensitive, I keep this on hand to spot, treat any redness or irritation, which I frequently have during the winter due to dryness. I thought that this would be thicker, but the consistency is actually perfect for what I use it for which is right underneath my nose where I get very red from blowing it during the winter and on my chin. Well, the size of this was much smaller than I had expected. When I saw the tube. The product itself was a very good value as it has lasted me quite some time being that I don’t use it all over my entire face. This very established Korean skincare brand is known for its quality ingredients & in this line in particular (the soothing Cicapair products are all amazing to attack redness & sensitive skin issues). It absorbs quickly & is definitely not greasy at any point during the application. The texture is a medium consistency & the thickness of the cream itself is not exactly rich or thick but it’s still very nourishing & healing. It takes about 2 minutes total to absorb into my parched Winter skin. This is excellent if you’re sensitive or having reactivity from any irritation.

This cream definitely puts a protective layer either alone or on top of your hand cream. I put this on, slipped on some cotton gloves and slept all night with this. In the morning my hands felt very soft and the cream was still moisturizing my skin as it didn't just soak in and vanish. Very comfortable, slightly fragranced but no added (fragrance) which is pleasant to me. Not at all greasy or oily, just a protective moisturizing layer which is very soothing to overworked skin.

This moisturizer has done wonders for my very sensitive rosacea skin. I love that it's not too thick or greasy but yet still works to repair the skin barrier. I feel like so many barrier repair creams are greasy and can cause breakouts. Not this stuff. A little goes a long way and it plays very well with other products. The redness on my skin is much less noticeable and way less irritated and my skin feels not oily but well moisturized. I'm really impressed. Others mention that the price is high, or comparable to other drug store products, but I disagree. I think this is well priced for the incredible results. And I like that you can buy a smaller tube for $20 instead of spending $50 on the larger size only to find it's not right for your skin. I've tried the other drug store barrier creams and they don't hold a candle to this cream. Great product. Please don't ever stop making it lol

The face cream is very moisturizing but due to the cost being the same, I prefer the Dr Jart+ Ceramidin for my damaged skin barrier. The cicapair, in my opinion is better for preventing damage to skin barrier. The ceramidin gave me immediate soothing from my stinging and itching face. The cicapair is harder to become absorbed. I will repurchase Dr Jart+ Ceramidin but will probably use another Less expensive moisturizer for everyday dry skin prevention. Both products are expensive but in line with other quality effective creams.

Super moisturizing without feeling overly greasy. Perfect for perimenopausal skin in the dry winters of the mid west.

Where had this stuff been all of my life? Starting in the early Fall, my knuckles crack and bleed because I'm a compulsive hand washer. I've spent a fortune on creams over the years, and still, they cracked. My husband, who is not a compulsive hand washer, has a cracking problem around the nails on his thumbs....very deep, painful cracks. When I received this cream, I immediately put it on the back of my hands, and the relief was immediate. With continued use (I only apply it at night), the redness and cracks disappeared in a day or so. My husband is using it on his thumbs and has had the same great experience. I think it's a magical preventative. This may be our first winter without painful cracks. I've used it on my face, too. It makes my skin soft, and there's no scent, and it's non-greasy. Absolutely love it.

Thick but not greasy, Dr Jart always provides what I need in beauty products

While this is a great product that actually helps soothe my red skin, the value for the money is not worth it. $20 for a very small amount but a little does go a long way. Idk if I would purchase this again for the price.
