It’s important to note that this is not a “screen door repair kit”. It’s designed to add a screen where you don’t have one. So instead of having spline, it has velcro tape. For our need, which is adding a screen to our camper door, it’s perfect. I’d classify the mesh as “fine”, meaning that’s it about as good as you can expect at this price point. The velcro tape is 14 1/2 feet long, so sufficient for our needs, but make sure you don’t need more for your installation. I doubt that the velcro will stand up to continued opening/closing, so I’ll be cutting the screen to make two overlapping halves that’ll be held together with magnets. Ours is probably an edge case, and if you just want to add a screen to a window that doesn’t have one, this is a great option at $13.

This screen kit is perfect for quickly adding screen to a door. It doesn't use a frame like most window screens, but instead there are two rolls of tape that has little pins that poke through the screen material. Stick that tape to the door around the windows, and then use the included tool to work the screen down over the pins to hold it in place. Then trim it for neatness and you are done.Putting a screen up was quick and easy. It didn't give me any trouble during the installation process. It looks like it will be as durable as any window screen, meaning it'll probably last a few years.
