Perfect Fit - Great Quality in BRASS
This is THE Answer !!! We've had a metal hose reel from a big box hardware store for almost 20 years. Its weakness was that the swivel joint was aluminum and once it started to corrode the aluminum corrosion would eat the rubber O-Rings right out of it. Annually I had to dis-assemble it and replace the O-Rings. Now Ive found this Brass unit and I hope to rarely ever have to do that again. It was a perfect fit with zero leakage. Happy to see it came with an extra set of O-Rings as well. This should give our hose reel another 20 yrs to its life. New reels are either plastic or still Aluminum!!

Fixed my broken hose reel, but worried about durability.
My cheap liberty hose reel has a swivel like this that broke the second time I used it. The issue was that the swivel is so still that it ends up unscrewing itself instead of turning at the reel. This one was the same, so I had to disassemble it and lubricate the o-rings prior to use. Seems like this is going to be a high maintenance item, as there is no swivel bearing on this at all, it just rides on those o-rings. They helpfully include extra o-rings for when they eventually fail. Overall I give it 4 stars for now, but may have to revise if this one doesn't hold up well.

It was a perfect fit for my hose reel on wheels. They also supplied inner rings if it leaks in the future.

Does the job successfully
The swivel connector on my 12 year old hose cart used to leak and spray water out of the sides. This was an easy fix and game changer. Just needed some channel locks and a socket set to swap out the old one and install the new one.
