Balance Breens "Quick Dissolve" MelatoninSHORT REVIEW: This Quick Dissolve Melatonin by balance Breens has a lovely Berry flavor. Although the scent (when I put my nose in the jar) is a mix of (industrial odors?) and berry. It took 25 minutes to fully dissolve under the tongue. I like this a lot, but before I use any supplement I try to evaluate its safety by looking at Transparency, Accountability, and quality.The Details: Transparency (medium-low): It was hard to find much info on Balance Breens. I can't discover the founder. Regarding “Breens”, I read that the term means “A Deep Brownish Green”, likely referring to herbs and greens so important to health (a clever name!). On the Balance Breens webpage, they say they’ve “always been a family first company. As a registered pharmacist and a team with more than two decades of experience. . . ” . Trademark activity dates to 2020, and the owner can be discovered, but no other info. Balance Breens is also known as BalanceNaturo, Inc which is located in Michigan (no specific business address is provided).Accountability (medium low): This appears to be a distributor rather than a manufacturer. On their web page, they claim their product is Manufactured in a GMP-certified facility under strict compliance, with stringent quality standards. Made in the USA. They also claim to be third party lab tested for purity and potency. I am unable to verify either claim at this time.Quality: These quick dissolve melatonin tablets have a lovely berry flavor, but don’t stick your nose in the jar (not such a great scent). We are not told exactly how to take them, but quick dissolve suggests under the tongue or in the mouth. The instructions are to start with ½ tablet. Fillers/Binding/dissolving agents include microcrystalline cellulose, Natural Berry Flavor, dextrose, Mannitol, sucralose, Bilberry extract, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon dioxide and croscarmellose sodium.I’m comfortable using these, although I wish I had more solid information (documentation) about Good Manufacturing Practices and or 3rd party lab testing. The lack of transparency and slow dissolvability really should drive this review down to a 3.5 star level, but I rounded up because I like the flavor.

10mg of Melatonin is my "sweet spot" when I can't get to sleep. These pills deliver! The ingredient list is "Melatonin 10 mg". Simple enough! These are made in the USA which is a plus for me. The expiration date on my bottle is 03/2027 which is a great shelf life.My bottle came with the bottle seal compromised. The outside plastic seal was OK, but the foil seal was curled at one end. Since the outside seal was intact, I trust they are OK. If you don't hear from me again then I suppose I was wrong.The other thing is the smell and flavor. "Bitter" best describes both.Then there is that undisclosed amount of Magnesium Stearate thing, presumably used as a binder and/or flow agent. Studies have shown that too much stearate may cause diarrhea in some people. I doubt there is enough in this pill alone, but taken with other supplements it may add up and make you a little more "regular" than you care to be.

I don't take melatonin often, but when I do, I expect it to help me get to sleep - and this does. Like any supplement, you should ask you doctor before starting. I take one about an hour before bed and slip into a calm, restful sleep. I don't take this often enough to feel dependant upon it, but if I've had a rough day or can't get out of my head to relax, this does the trick.

These Balancebreens melatonin 10mg tablets are just like my other melatonin pills. I have a hard time falling asleep, like I hate going to bed at night, so melatonin is one of my go-tos for an added effect to my diphenhydramine when I take it to try to get my mind to shut the heck up long enough to grab a few Zzz's. These melatonin pills seem to work just like my store brand melatonin. They help, but not too much. But then again, that's me with chronic insomnia and melatonin isn't the best solution for chronic insomnia. It's probably the safest, but it's not the most effective for me. But still, it helps a little.I also like how these taste. They're not too chalky and the berry flavor is tasty enough. They're kind of small tablets, too, so even if you're not a fan of the berry flavor, these tablets will dissolve quickly or you can just chew them to make them go down faster.Overall, I'm happy with these Balancebreens tablets. They seem as 'effective' for me as the other melatonin brands I've tried, they taste good, they're made in the U.S.A. in a FDA registered facility and have GMP approval (if all those package claims are indeed true). I recommend.

Tried this product out. I have problems sleeping. Well I took 2 nothing. I took 5 nothing. Don't waste your money on this brand.
