However, if there is a gap between the spikes the squirrels will find it! Review: Very Sharp and Very Effective - I had pigeons nesting under my deck on the cross beams. These completely solved that problem. They are so sharp that you need to wear some serious safety equipment during installation. That is not a criticism as you can immediately see how no sane bird would ever want to touch these. I recommend bending them down flat for installation, otherwise you are almost guaranteed to tear up your arms. After installation, bend each spine up individually in your chosen configuration. Wear thick gloves and be VERY careful. Birds only try landing near or on them once. They learn a lesson VERY quickly. ## Features - 【SAFE AND EFFECTIVE HUMANIZED BIRD SPIKES】- Quunoot bird spikes imitate the structure of thorn plants to visually stimulate birds to prevent them from landing, and effectively prevent reptiles from stealing food, repelling birds in a humane way without harming them. At the same time, the bright stainless steel surface can reflect sunlight to enhance the effect, scaring away pigeons and other animals. - 【SPECIAL PATENTED DESIGN, WIDE RANGE OF USES】- Quunoot bird spikes have applied for a US design patent. Works to stop them but you have to use them with CARE. *by F***Y on August 25, 2026* Keeps the raccoons off the fence. I also connected three with zip ties and wrapped them around my fruit tree. Seems to be working to keep the 'coons out of the tree. Make sure you remove low branches that the animal can climb up also. VERY SHARP.
