Further update, the seller / manufacturer have reached out and been incredible! *updated review* I was very happy with this product and still the magnet works well, however it broke whilst on my bag. I used it maybe 4 or 5 rounds of golf and the clip just came apart. Worthless now. This is just over a month from purchase. First review when received. Fits great on the bag and a really strong magnet! Very chuffed with this unit!

It’s an extremely simple device but exactly what I was looking for. There is a slight blemish at the rear as though the rough paint finish was smudged when it wasn’t fully dry so I hope the doesn’t cause rust problems in the future as it is exposed to rain. It’s not cheap given the fact it’s basically just a metal clip so I have marked it down to 3 stars.

This was exactly what I needed for my sun mountain 4.5 14 way golf bag. Some of the other magnetic landing pads are just too large if you are just going to use it for one item such as a range finder. Fits perfectly on the 14 way divider bag. The range finder magnet sticks perfectly. I would imagine that the magnetic sticking force has more to do with the magnet in the range finder or other devise as opposed to the landing pad itself. Excellent compact product!
