I am genuinely impressed with this SSD enclosure. The first thing that stood out to me was the sleek aluminum cover design; it not only looks premium, but it also gives me confidence that it dissipates heat really well during use. Most importantly, it solved exactly the problem I needed it to solve. It read my SSD drive like a charm. No hassle, no issues; just quick and reliable performance right away. The build quality is excellent. It feels incredibly solid, almost tank-like, and the full aluminum construction makes it feel durable and well-made. It’s also very intuitive to use. I didn’t even need to look at the instruction manual. I especially liked the lever mechanism, instead of dealing with tiny screws to secure the drive, the lever locks it in place perfectly, which makes setup much easier and more convenient. As for value, absolutely worth it. Honestly, the enclosure itself feels so well made that it’s worth keeping even if the SSD inside ends up being corrupt or unusable. Highly recommended!!!

Works as intended. I kinda prefer the previous design, which still is available and I really don't see a difference but this one is slightly less expensive. During my use case, first was a very large transfer. Slightly warm but mostly cool. So the enclosure is doing its job. Fast transfer speeds. USB-C 3.2 connectivity. Nice sutle click that drive it shut once NVME M.2 drive was installed. Has not opened by itself, so that's good too. Came with a decent size cable that works for it's intended purpose.

This Sabrent USB C NVMe enclosure is excellent. Installation was truly tool free and only took a couple of minutes. The drive fit securely and the enclosure closed firmly without any rattling. Transfer speeds are very fast when paired with a compatible NVMe drive and USB C port. It is great for cloning drives, backing up data, or using an NVMe as portable storage. The aluminum housing feels solid and helps with heat dissipation during longer transfers. Overall, this is a reliable and well designed enclosure that performs exactly as advertised. I would definitely recommend it.

Purchased for a 1tb Samsung 980 m.2 NVMe drive which was at 100% Drive Health Remaining with 0 bad sectors, errors, or warnings in Samsung Magician or the previous PC it was used in as a storage drive. After putting the drive in this enclosure & connecting to my PC, the drive was detected almost instantly but when simply exploring the folders on the drive it would occasionally hang for 5-20 seconds. There were a lot of files on the drive and I've never used an m.2 NVMe enclosure before so wasn't sure if it was normal then had to step away for a few mins only to come back to the drive no longer showing up in Windows File Explorer, Device Manager or Disk Management... In the whopping 10 minutes it was connected to my PC (tried front of case port as well as motherboard port, both type-c USB 3.2 Gen 2) Windows Event Viewer logged 688 Disconnect/Reconnect/Device Reset/Delayed Write Failed/Data Lost/Corruption/Paging Errors etc before the drive vanished. I restarted PC and tried different ports but could no longer get the drive to show up anywhere after using it in this enclosure for only 10 minutes. Drive won't show up when connected to my other PC or Laptops either. I removed my drive from the enclosure, opened up my PC and placed the drive back in the m.2 slot it was functioning in perfectly prior to trying the enclosure and now the PC can't even detect the drive when slotted directly into the motherboard where it was just working.. Doesn't even show up in Disk Management to try and format/reinitialize etc. I've done data recovery for friends and family who've had drives fail with important documents/family photos for years and the professional software I have a paid license for (Disk Genius) can't even see or detect the drive either so I'm pretty sure this enclosure just completely destroyed my drive so thats great. Lesson learned I guess, don't stick a drive worth $100-200 in a $20 enclosure and expect your drive or data to survive. Thanks a TON Sabrent, would be great if you wanted to reach out and offer some compensation beyond the $21 refund that won't cover a replacement drive.

Paird with a 2 TB Micron Crucial P310 PCe Gen4 NVMe M2 SSD from Best Buy. Zero problems. Can connect directly to my Pixel 10 Pro and copy over pictures, video using the "Files" app. 13GB takes about 2 minutes to transfer. Well built enclosure.

Easy to use since you don’t need a screwdriver and works great!

This has been great so far for my fujifilm gfx100s ii camera. i stuck a velcro strap on the bottom and its hanging out top on my camera. super fast writing and reading and much cheaper than purchasing a uhs-II sd card. i only wish the cord was replaceable, though the device is cheap enough to just get a new one if it goes bad, i'd rather not create e-waste if the cord is the only thing bad with it. the cord on it is very nice and thick though so maybe that wont be an issue, its the perfect length for my use case on the camera but if it wasnt i would have wanted a slightly different cord to use. update: after using this for a while ive found that the device does get fairly hot. this seems to cause the device to lock up and my camera gets stuck and the battery needs pulled. this isnt great when on a photo shoot. ive considered putting a heatsink on the enclosure to see if it helps. until then this is now my backup drive for my camera bag.

Very nice enclosure! The tool free design eliminates the need to deal with the small screws on other units. To my surprise this unit is capable of housing the 3 sizes of NVMe and the ability to secure the non-pin end toollessly. I will buy others of these as the need arises.

ho trovato il case molto utile, dalle foto non sembrava ma tutto il corpo è in alluminio, all'interno la tenuta dell'ssd è affidato ad un piccolo fermo in plastica che ruota e tiene bloccato in posizione, avrei preferito una vite visto che in ogni caso c'è bisogno del cacciavite per aprire lo sportellino che copre il vano ssd, in ogni caso ottimo prodotto ha superato le mie aspettative, c'è anche un piccolo pezzettino di pad termico per aiutare a dissipare il calore generato dall'ssd stesso trasferendolo a tutto il corpo in alluminio.

Très pratique, faible encombrement. Permet des sauvegardes rapides, dès qu'une m2 est installée.

Nice enclosure, works well, seems to dissipate heat decently enough. Some notes: the USB C-C cable is very short. this was helpful to me, but might be annoying for someone expecting a longer cord. one minor complaint about the design, which i guess is a safety feature; you have to physically unplug the cable from the device-end or you can't open the case enough to remove the M2 NVMe. this is probably to prevent idiots from pulling the M2 drive while plugged in, but its a slight annoyance that you could accidentally damage the USB connector by trying to open the case lid w/o first unplugging the cable. regardless, still 5 stars for "doing what it says on the box, with no drama or weirdness".
