I enjoyed this more than I expected. I am an artist and usually hate this kind of thing as it is too "crafty" and I don't like following exact directions. I'd usually rather paint my own picture. But, this was more like playing an online game, in that it was calming. There were no decisions to make! I just colored in all of one color and then another one. Having the same experience as an online game, but in real time and real space was wonderful. The digital experience always leaves me feeling empty. This makes you feel like you accomplished something and really plays well with "Mindfulness". I did use (and loved) Betem 72 Colors Paint Markers Acrylic Paint Pens, Dual Tip with Brush Tip and Fine Tip instead of the tedious paints that are sent with it. The paints are too thick (although you should continually add water to them and mix them to thin them out a bit) The brushes are cheap and the hairs on them make it impossible to stay in the lines. The PAINT PENS are fabulous! One end is stubby and the other is like a brush. I used both. It took me a bit of time to translate the colors from the paint pots to the matching paint pen. But I numbered the pens, so it was easier to do. The uploaded picture is not yet finished. I started with the 48 pen set, but I needed some specific colors, and sent for the larger 72 pen set. I am waiting on them to arrive b4 I finish it. Already sent for 4 more! And there is plenty of paint left in the pens for many many more hours of fun! I listen to audio books and I can't tell you how relaxing it is!!!

Fun date night

I gave it a 4 star because the paint upon arrival was very dry. I had to add water to each single color. At times it was clumpy . Overall the painting turn out great. My suggestion is to add more acrylic paint if you would like the vibrancy to pop. This is a very detailed painting and not beginner friendly. If you like a challenge then this could be it.

Beautiful painting. The spaces were large to paint so it's one for a beginner but is still enjoyable for an expert. The reference image it came with is tiny but fortunately I didn't need it. The description says the canvas would arrived rolled but it was folded, and put permanent indentations in the final image as you can see from the picture. I tried to iron out the creases with flat iron on a low heat setting but it began to warp/melt the canvas so I don't recommend it. The creases in the canvas are the only bad thing about this item.

One of my favorite paint by numbers. Some of the orange/yellow were so light no matter how many layers you could still see the number. I just used white acrylic paint and painted those spots white then painted over them in the color to cover the number.

Gorgeous, detailed, numbers all easy to read. Canvas is nice, creases flattened out easily with a little water on the back and under books for 12 hours, Im going to flatten it again before I touch up the last couple areas, then cover it with a clear coat and stretch it in a frame. The paint quality varies, some of them seemed a little watery, others were quite thick and actually needed to be watered down. This was a relaxing, consuming activity that took about 100 hours to complete. Biggest drawback was the opacity of the yellows and oranges. About 2/3 of way through the painting I wised up enough to use a white pen to blot out the numbers before painting them, but they take like 2-4 layers to cover up that number without it. Really nice for the price though, I enjoyed doing it for weeks and now I'll enjoy seeing it hung up for a long time!

I really enjoyed this! it was so relaxing and I loved seeing it slowly come together. I did have to buy another bottle of black paint just because of how much this one in particular. I do recommend getting another set of small detail brushes because this comes with 3 very cheaply made brushes that start to fray out and dont hold much paint. other than that, I love this so much and I love how it came out

This was a lot of fun to do. Compared with other Amazon PBN kits this was a slightly higher quality canvas… and not a single in-numbered cell. The paints were of decent quality. I did use a clear gesso. (The first time I’ve done that). The canvas was creased/folded as most are at this price point, but I find they greatly diminish as I work in them and can barely tell by them time it’s done. The only issue was a couple of the paints ran very low. One of them actually ran out but I was able to substitute in one from a previous set that was close enough. All in all I recommend and will likely buy other kits from Idazao in the future.
