Quoting another purchaser: *almost like* the ones Amazon uses
Another reviewer said that these A4 Mailers are "*almost like* the ones Amazon uses". That is more true than at first glance.They are certainly several leaps of quality above the flimsy paper ones sold at Post Office counters, but the paper is rough and more like rough cardboard boxing material; the mailers that Amazon uses are substantially more thick and robust. If these get wet in rain the integrity of the card will be seriously compromised, I think. I wouldn't expect them to be robust for more than a thin paperback, a DVD, a tee shirt or similar small object; they do have a fold around the edges to expand for slight bulk, but not over-stuffing them would be wise, as I think that any stress on the seams would result in disappointment.The closure has substantial adhesive, so it won't absolutely require faffing about with glue or tape. That said, I always tape over the closure of any mailer I use for posting because the world is crazy, amirite?I liked that this seller offered a packet of five, which is appropriate for those of us who do not mail in bulk. I also appreciated that it was dispatched same day and arrived the next -long before expected. The price for 5 is very reasonable, too.

Good but a little thin
Good for sending A4 photobooks. Got two reasonably big ones per wallet without to much cramming and a bit of reinforcing tape to be sure. It's not the heaviest cardboard in the world though.
