Needs power for WiFi enabled controls. But still decent.
Medium skills needed to fit, make sure the tracknis fully lined and all clips fully closed. Only works will Alexa when connected to power and not on battery. Which drops it down 1 star. Very smooth in operation use tuya app for control of motor speed 1-3. It's worth the money and 5 year warranty for motor is decent. The track moves on a metal band belt so should last.

Very bulky
I think this would look great if you have a valance but if you have nothing its very bulky looking.

Good addition to Tuya/Smart life family
Sturdy and responsive.A 2 person job for have it fitted, 6 to 8 screws depends on length.Slight chunky motor on the size for power and control.Pretty smooth operation, not too noisy and controllable speeds.Could hold quite a bit and will affect the operating speed.Good to have it integrated into the smart system, for automation or timer.Comes with a handy remote.Slightly pricey at under £200, comparing to similar products.

Clunky looking but sleek working...
I hadn't heard of the brand before but this ACRIMO Motorised Smart Curtain Track is quite an impressive kit and a lot of thought and engineering has gone into it. It's also surprisingly sturdy and looks like it should last for years, but it will need a secure fix to the ceiling to keep it there. This kit only includes ceiling brackets but supposedly L-shaped wall brackets are available but they're currently not on Amazon or the ACRIMO website so check before you buy if you need those. The box contains various lengths of extruded aluminium track, this is all high gauge rigid stuff and nothing flexes or bends worryingly. In my 5m pack there are the 1000mm main motorised piece, three more plain 1000mm lengths, one 300mm length, two 200mm lengths and one 100mm length and a set of secure but clunky buckle clips which join them all together. You have to assemble the length you need from the supplied pieces and inevitably your finished track will have at least one visible buckle clip along its length, probably several, and because the motorised end is fixed the shorter pieces cannot be symmetrically arranged or hidden at the ends. It looks like it would be possible to cut the aluminium track but you'd probably need a suitable power saw to make the necessary perfectly clean and square cut, so it's probably best avoided. Also the system is well thought out there are things to be aware of. The most obvious thing (literally) is that the motor unit and gearing mechanism is fixed to the end of one piece and it extends beyond the curtain at that side, there's no option to hide it behind the curtain. This also means that although the motorised length might be 1000mm long it only offers about 750mm of usable length for the curtain. Note there's a smaller sub-gear unit at the other end that does have the facility (using supplied optional clips) to be hidden behind the curtain although that'll leave a slight bulge. It doesn't seem to be mentioned in this listing but the motor unit (which is quite easily detachable from the track) contains a rechargeable battery and so you don't need a power cable running up the wall to the unit. There are two power connectors on the base of the motor, one for a supplied two-pin mains cable and the other is a USB-C port, so you simply recharge it when necessary either in place or by unclipping it from the track. To attach the rail to your ceiling a set of fixing clips is supplied which need to be positioned at either end and close to all buckle clip joints with clips no more than a metre apart at any point along the run. The clips have a spring-clip which allows the rail to be clicked in or out of place quite easily. The fixing clips are about 72mm x 22mm but annoyingly (for me at least) is that they have to be positioned perpendicular to the rail, not running in line with it, and the screwholes are about 55mm apart so you need to be screwing into a joist or batten to get a secure fix.The runners for the curtains have loops that your curtain hooks attach to and run very smoothly, almost frictionless, along the rail. There are even three speeds to choose from so curtains can glide elegantly shut or speed along and they're all relatively quiet in operation. The curtains can only be set to meet at the centre point of the rail and as the edges come together the specially shaped end-brackets make them overlap slightly so there's no crack of light in the middle. You get enough runners to allow 8 per metre of track but you don't have to use all of them. The curtain track is quite deep and the runners are centred beneath it so your curtain probably won't lap up to cover the track and is more likely to sit beneath it. You might even have to position your curtain hooks toward the top edge of the curtain to get it to work with this rail, there isn't a lot of clearance and the rail is likely to remain visible even with the curtains closed. You get a little three-button remote control for the rail (with an optional magnetic wall plate) but this is a smart rail that can be connected to your digital assistant and operate with voice control or your smartphone. I found it impossible to pair with my smartphone until I connected the motor unit to a power supply, then it connected instantly. The instructions suggest using the TUYA service and app but I used the Smart Life app (which works with many smart items from different brands) and that worked fine. Once you set it up in Smart Life it becomes available in Amazon's Alexa or Google Assistant and you can add it to automated routines, for example making the curtains close automatically at sunset and open again at dawn. Or you could tell Alexa it's "Movie Time" and have her close the curtains and dim the lights...Overall the kit is very well made and thought out but it provides almost no information about how it all goes together and you have to glean what you can from a short video and PDF - search for 'Acrimo' on YouTube to see the video before ordering. It isn't difficult but you have to figure out a lot of it yourself by doing, there isn't much support or explanation given. For example there's also an RJ45 ethernet-style port on the base of the motor which seems to be there as a wired control option, but why? Can you use this to daisy-chain rails together and sync their operation? Who knows, they're not telling. Knowing that the chunky rail is probably always going to be visible, joints and all, is important and if you're planning ahead then you could consider hiding it behind coving or similar to get a sleek look. It isn't ugly exactly but it isn't pretty either though it does do a really good job.

Ceiling mounting only.
We ordered this not realising that the only mounting options included in the box are for ceiling mounting which we are unable to use. While the product description does mention that it’s a ceiling mount, the installation video implies that wall mounts are included or at least available but I have not been able to find them either on Amazon or ACRIMO’s website, so this curtain track is essentially useless to us at the moment. At present, all I’m able to say is that the component systems look to be of good quality with a well thought out design. Everything is packaged well in a large cardboard box, with all the components laid out to make assembly easy. There is no installation manual supplied, only a sheet of paper with a QR code to the installation video which is quite short at just over 2 minutes. Personally, I’d rather have a proper manual as it’s easier to refer to that than a tiny video on a phone screen that doesn’t really go into much detail. As things stand, with us unable to actually install the track without the wall mounting brackets and the lack of paper instructions, I’m going to score it 3 starsI have contacted ACRIMO to ask where I can find the wall mounts as I’m not able to review the track without them and I’ll update this review if and when I receive a response.Update: I ordered these at the beginning of June 2024 and have never heard back from ACRIMO even though we are now into July as to whether or not we can buy wall mounts for this so my review unfortunately stands at three stars.
