Q: Do these come in original bic packaging as want them for my daughters stocking filler

These pens come loose in a grip seal bag and not in the version that has the Bic packaging.

Q: Just received these pens. can't get them to write. no ink coming out. is there anything i should be doing?

There’s an almost invisible plastic guard on the pen tip. Ease this off, it’s quite tough, but it will come off and the ink will then run freely. I have found those pens to be a very good buy but like you, struggled to find out why it refused to write at first.
