This rug arrives flat packed and when laid out does have embedded creases. The product pages states that you shoudl place heavy objects on it or iron it to flatten out those creases but I was interested whether 9as for other carpets, the creases would dissapate with us. They dont. I have left it in place for about 10 days and during that time the creases have remained. I dont really want to iron it but feel I will need to to get rid of them.The rug itself is of a nice quality and feels really good to the touch. The anti slip base works extremely well and despite a lot of footfall over it, it has remained resolutely in place. The pattern I struggle with more in practice from what i had expected in the pictures. The look of the rug changes quite a lot in different lighting conditions and parts of it, under the wrong lighting look as though the rug is actually dirty in parts across the rug (I actually thought it was dirty when I first saw it). This restricted where I could place the rug I ended up placing it somewhere where it gets a lot of light. However that element is teh reason for my adjusted rating. It is a nice quality rug but really feel some work could have been done on the design to avoid the unfortunate look of the carpet under the wrong conditions (I couldnt use in 2 rooms I wanted to place it in).

I have put this rug in my childrens play room. It offers anti slip backing which is perfect and works well, offering safety with my children. The material is of great quality and feels very soft and luxurious. It looks lovely, and is a really lovely colour, and would suit most decors. The rug came folded and had a few creases, but these dropped out when I’d put it down after a day or so. Very impressed.
