mittens
These mittens are good quality but they do not prevent scartching! I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered these even after reading the description (which says the fingers remain free). My baby can scratch herself just fine with them on, I don't see any point in having them. Waste of money, and so expensive for a pair of mittens too.upd.: I thought it was worth mentioning that my son had severe exzema on his face and was really determined to scratch the itch. These mittens might be fine for someone without the skin issues.

sweet, smart, and spectacular!
This was easy to put on and kept my son from early scratches! But does not limit finger recognition just like the product promises. Very adorable on the baby too (looks like little boxing mits!) Made from baby and earth friendly material, which is nice because babies absorb soo much in the first six months as it is and they tend to like to suck on things that are on their hands. This item is SO soft and I would definitely recommend it to any mom looking for an alternative to the usual restraining baby mittens.

Do NOT prevent scratching
I did read all the reviews before purchasing these gloves but thought I would still give them a shot as I was desperate to keep my daughter from scratching her face and still wanted to let her have use of her fingers. I put them on my daughter and was doubtful she wouldn't scratch as the fit of these didn't prevent her fingers/nails from touching her face. Took her out of her crib the next morning and new scratches were there:(Needless to say, these are being returned. Good ole' socks on the hands during sleep time does the trick:)

Help with transitioning out of the swaddle
When we were transitioning baby out of a swaddle and into a sleepsack, we used these gloves on his hands. The gloves kept him from scratching his face and allowed him to squeeze the glove like an adult squeezes a stress ball. These definitely helped with the transitioning out of swaddling, However, the Velcro closure would sometimes scratch him.

The concept is good but I wish they come in bigger sizes
We bought this for my 8-month old baby who is suffering from eczema. Unfortunately, this doesn't fit her. I hope they would include the size information in the product description so we're more aware of what we're buying.. even their website doesn't say anything about it. It would be nice too if they can make bigger sizes to fit bigger/older babies (who have the same case as our baby).

Perfect for premie baby
My baby was born at 29 weeks and is in the NICU. I got the gloves at about 31 weeks and although they are a little big since he is so small (started using gloves at just over 3 lbs), he really does like to squeeze them- its great relief so he doesn't concentrate on pulling any leads. He continues to grow into them and is now about 4.5 lbs.

Awful product
A for effort F for product. These mittens are extremely small and look very uncomfortable once put on. Would be good for Halloween as boxing gloves and that's it.

Cute but not necessary
I bought these because I thought my baby might need to keep his hands in a nice position but it's totally unnecessary. I used it maybe less than 10 times and it's not easy to get little hands in them. You also feel bad when they're all bundled up so you're less inclined to keep these on long just cause you're not quite sure how useful they are. Cute idea though. They didn't prevent nails from scratching because they don't cover the nails at all.If you're building a baby registry and would like some guidance on top rated baby stuff, check out AllMomsArePerfect.com.
