Method Lights Screw-in LED Picture Light, Ultra Bright, Remote Controlled, Programable, Color Temperature Control, Dimmable, Superior Art Lighting up to 3200 Lumens

Everything about this product and packaging reflects its high quality. It functions as well as it looks. I’m using the light in my hobby room, for reading and as a back light for my TV. I’m a senior and have problems getting good lighting. I can adjust this light to a perfect setting to take all of the eye strain away from my eyes. For me, this promotes good eye health. With the light stand it’s very portable. This makes a very reasonable and useful high quality gift.

This light is perfect for adapting a standard fixture to allow for a more “gallery-quality” of illumination without the expense of having an electrician come out and install new fixtures. It has really impressed me with how well it illuminates the artwork that I have hanging on my walls at home.

New art in my cozy corner requires new lighting! I have the older version of this light already, so I immediately went back to reorder and discovered this new one! What an upgrade! I love that I don't need to mount and can install in an existing fixture. My art looks great and BONUS! The light pivots enough that I can put it straight down for when I'm doing any needlework. Old eyes need good light and this is magic! The paperwork mentions a fan to keep cool on the higher settings, I had it set as bright as I could and never heard it, but it must do the job, because I moved it right back into position highlighting my with painting while it was still on even when I inadvertently touched the bulb area.

I just finished installing our first Methods Light fixture to spot a 5' X 4' oil painting on our dining room wall. It does everything the manufacturer promised. It was simple to set up and program. We programmed Setting I for a cooler, brighter light; and program II for a redder, less intense light. The wide angle feature allowed us to angle the beam away from any dinner quest field of vision. The light is on dimmer with an another overhead, but I can lower that light to practically zero without affecting the ML's performance. This is the perfect solution for our needs and I will be ordering several more to spot other art throughout our house. We thought we were going to have employ an electrician to run dedicated spots, but now we have avoided hundreds of dollars in additional expense and hassle. So that is another added benefit. The ML spot is worth every penny.

I sent these back. I'm afraid if an electrical fire. When in use you hear a weird electrical humming noise.

The light works quite well for my purposes. With remote to control color temperature and brightness. It is very bright at max setting. Once adjusted, settings can be stored into memory. (2 buttons on remote for that.) There are some timer options as well on the remote. (to stay on either 3 hours or 6 hours) The only thing I would like to see on this light is some way to adjust the "cone" of light emitted, and it would be REALLY great if that could be done remotely along with the other adjustments. All in all, I've tried many solutions for this lighting situation, and this one comes close to being exactly what I want. (Large photographs over the fireplace mantle, lighted from an existing recessed ceiling fixture)

I love these lights and their ability to enhance works of art that are important to me. Just screw the bulb into a regular light socket and it's ready to use. You can control the brightness and color temperature of the light with a remote control. Valuable addition to an artist's studio.
