Chialde is the typical Montecatini Terme wafer made with a traditional recipe handed down from father to son because those that taste it are sent on a unique sensorial voyage. 44% of the Chialde is made up of almonds from Puglia layered between thin layers of pastry making Desideri Chialde the ideal accompaniment for gelato, whip cream, fruit or to embellish a mid afternoon tea break. Le Cialde di Montecatini is Desideris flagship product, artisan made with all natural ingredients that make their taste unique and refreshing. The pastry is especially thin (less than 1 millimetre) and rests and ages before being assembled with almonds, sugar and other extremely simple and delicious ingredients.
