Out of the box, this feels reassuringly weighty. And if you are using it JUST for hardware then you will probably be good to go right away. And it shows up in both Reason and Ableton just fine. Probably most other DAWs as well, i haven't checked on others yet though. . Sticking with the MIDI out device in Reason (DAW), this is pretty simple to set up and use. I've had this a while now and, after a little initial confusion (my bad), i now count this as one of my studio essentials. . There might be some better equipment out there, but not at this price i bet.

I got this 4x4 USB midi adapter to see whether I could control my 3 Korg Volcas with my iPad Mini 4 using the the Genome Midi Sequencer app. Everything worked flawlessly straight out of the box. Once I had adjusted the midi channels on my Volcas, setting it up as just a matter of plugging things it and it was ready to go. This adapter is really compact, it does not take much space on your desk. The case is all metal, ad very sturdy. I can highly recommend this product.

Wow, I struggled for years with M-Audio interfaces, with their convoluted drivers that took several attempts to work. This little Midiface worked straight away! Straight in to Cubase, no messing. Recommended! :)

Works perfectly with ableton live 9, fl studio 10xxl, logic, various lighting desks, my three analogue korg volcas and my akai S2000 sampler. Tracking is a little off but for the price you can't complain. Latency is around 16ms on my rig but that is including 4 other midi devices. Love the brushed metal finish of the unit as well.

But looks great. Super simple plug and play. Got three external synths set up with Ableton Live, with External Instrument devices for each one saved, in about 15 minutes. Make sure to go into Preferences>MIDI first and set up each interface for sync and track. Absolutely delighted, cut down on my USB connections and loose cables a fekkin treat.

Bought this usb midi interface to replace a Roland one that was too old to work with my Windows 10 laptop. It works just as well as the Roland in both my Windows 7 tower & my Windows 10 laptop. I use it with Mixcraft 9 DAW without any problem.

Il prezzo è un pò altino, ma è giustificato per la funzione di uso: viene immediatamente riconosciuto e si autoinstalla velocemente, i LED segnalano in è out del segnale connesso e poi 4 porte midi a disposizione. Fa esattamente quello per cui è stato progettato! Soddisfatto e altamente consigliato.

Funktioniert alles wie beschrieben,keine Treiber notwendig,eingfach nur USB anschliessen und loslegen.Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die grelle blaue Betriebsbereitschafts-LED.Die ist wirklich lästig,aber das Problem ist schnell gelöst :Uberkleben mit schwarzem Tape oder mit schwarzer Farbe bestreichen.

Using PipeWire on Gentoo Linux; gotta love class compliant devices.
