Well made
My kids really love this new generation of beyblades. My only complaint is that the old launchers don't work for these, so I had to purchase new ones. These are definitely made better than the older ones though.

These are great additional blades!
Our kids have several cable-pull launchers from other Beyblade X, so this was a great stocking stuffer to give them more variety. It’s kind of cool how different they are. The purple one spins forever and fights well, but it just might burst on you! I think they intentionally gave it a weakness. Fun stuff!

Size
The beyblades are just exactly what I was hoping for.. I didn't expect them to be a bit smaller than other beyblade X bey's. It's approximately 2 millimeters smaller.. not a big difference. They are perfect for battling each other, and I think that these smaller ones are a little better than the others I have. They also DO NOT have launchers.

Mtn dew shark doo doo doo doo
Keel shark is an amazing bey and having it in green (Aka Mtn Dew Shark) is even better. The other bey is came with is cool and all but I mostly got the pack for the shark attack.

Lime Keel Shark matches TT in looks, good bits help in performance
The media could not be loaded. Knife Shinobi and Keel Shark are right rotation Beyblades (Japanese spinning tops) designed to work in Takara Tomy’s (TT; a Japanese toy company) Beyblade X generation compatible beystadiums (not included) using winder or string launchers (also not included). Knife Shinobi (the Hasbro counterpart of TT’s ‘Shinobi Shadow’) is a defense type that seems to be a slight variation of the Horn Rhino blade, just not a good one. The image of Shinobi looks foggy for some reason. Its ratchet is 4-80, and an odd pink and yellow color that does not match with Shinobi at all. Swapping this part out with another ratchet from another Beyblade set is recommended since 4-sided ratchets tend to burst easier than all the other rackets. The bit (the part of the Beyblade X bey that makes contact with the stadium floor) known as “HN” stands for “High Needle,” and it is a nice and tall defense bit, probably the only thing good going for Knife Shinobi to possibly counter attack when it is hit by an opponent. The attack type Blade known as Keel Shark (aka ‘Shark Edge’ in Japan) on the other hand, is a great upper-attack blade that attempts to knock opponents up as it smashes into it (reminiscent of the Guilty Longinus/Luinor Bey of the previous Burst generation of Beyblade). 3-80 is a 3-sided ratchet and is decent in performance but 3-60 would be a more ideal height since Keel Shark’s upper attack tactic aims to get underneath the opponent in order to knock it upwards, and 3-80 makes it high, and so…. Counterintuitive to the overall strategy. “Flat” or “F” is a good attack bit and perfect for Keel Shark because it gains greater speed at the cost of stamina. Thereby, using the Xtreme Stadium (not included) accelerator rails to whip around to strike at the center of the stadium and knock the opponent towards to Over or Xtreme Zones for an Over Finish or Xtreme Finish, respectively. As I have found through my testings that Knife Shinobi is at a disadvantage, so if this is a gift for siblings, expect Keel Shark to win most of the time. In conclusion, this Hasbro Beyblade 2- pack has useful parts (namely the High Needle and Flat bits) and cool colors. Whether or not that is worth the cost is solely in the eyes of the buyer. I personally like the lime green Keel Shark color so…. yeah, I think most Beyblade X fans will be happy with it. Watch my video for more details.
