This is one of the best minifigs in recent times for the Star Wars series. It’s so good for gifting to others as it’s affordable and has good playability.

This is a great little set if you are a fan of Lego microfighters and / or Captain Rex. It’s a simple build, perfect for a small gift or reward. Of course the main reason this set is likely to fly off the shelves is the inclusion of the ever popular clone Captain Rex figure. Previously very hard to come by in Lego form. In fact, the exact same figure was only recently exclusive to the extremely expensive UCS Venator star destroyer set, but now finds itself in one of Lego’s cheapest offerings. This set is a great opportunity to get this popular character cheaply, putting both collectors and kids on a level playing field for once. I know a few people who like to profit from Lego figures haven’t been pleased by this, but I’m all for it. Well done Lego. Only issue for me was the fact that my copy arrived in a crushed box due to being packed in an impossibly small package. Contents of bags were fine and Amazon would have replaced it free of charge, but this might be something to watch out for. That said I have ordered loads of Lego from Amazon over the years and this is the first time I have noticed any significant issues with the packaging.

Microfighters are great for what they are and this one delivers. Simple and easy to build. The Captain Rex figure justifies the price for any Clone Wars fan. The Y Wing build is a fun little addition to my collection too.

Der Microfighter 75391 Captain Rex Y-Wing aus dem Star Wars-Universum ist eines dieser Sets, die man sich ganz ehrlich nicht wegen des Modells kauft, sondern wegen der Figur. Genau so war es auch bei mir: Captain Rex hat in der Sammlung noch gefehlt, also führt an diesem Microfighter kein Weg vorbei. Der Y-Wing selbst ist typisch Microfighter: schnell gebaut, stabil, gut bespielbar, aber am Ende eben Beiwerk. Für Kinder ab 6 funktioniert das Ding perfekt, der Aufbau ist unkompliziert und das Ergebnis robust genug fürs Spielen. Für erwachsene Sammler ist das Schiff ehrlich gesagt nebensächlich. Der eigentliche Star ist Captain Rex. Die Minifigur ist sehr sauber bedruckt, mit ordentlichem Bein-Print und Rückendruck, genau so, wie man es von LEGO inzwischen erwartet. Die Figur wirkt hochwertig und macht in der Vitrine deutlich mehr her als viele ältere Rex-Varianten. Dafür gibt’s klar Pluspunkte. Preislich ist das Ganze dagegen wieder klassisches LEGO-Amazon-Chaos. Ich habe 10,13 € bezahlt, angeblich mit -22 %, was faktisch Unsinn ist, da die LEGO-UVP bei 9,99 € liegt. Rechnet man es runter, landet man bei rund 0,10 € pro Teil, was für einen Microfighter objektiv eher teuer ist. Ohne die exklusive Figur wäre das Set in dieser Preisregion kaum zu rechtfertigen. Zur Nachhaltigkeit: LEGO nutzt hier klassisches ABS-Kunststoffmaterial. Ein konkreter rPET-Anteil ist bei diesem Set nicht ausgewiesen. LEGO arbeitet zwar generell an nachhaltigeren Materialien, bei diesem Microfighter spielt das aber noch keine Rolle. ✔️ Sehr starke Captain-Rex-Minifigur mit guter Bedruckung ✔️ Stabiler Microfighter, ideal für Kinder ✔️ Schneller Aufbau, sofort bespielbar ✔️ Für Sammler als „Figuren-Set“ sinnvoll ❌ Preis pro Teil recht hoch ❌ Y-Wing selbst eher unspektakulär ❌ Rabattangabe irreführend ❌ Ohne Interesse an Rex kaum lohnenswert Das ist kein Set, das man wegen des Modells kauft, sondern ein klassischer Figuren-Kauf mit Beifang. Wer Captain Rex in der Sammlung haben will, kommt kaum daran vorbei und bekommt dafür eine wirklich gelungene Minifigur. Wer nur ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Set sucht, ist hier definitiv falsch. Für Fans und Sammler: okay. Für alle anderen: eher skippen.
