Seller claims bags are 3 mm, and charges like it's 3 mm it's barely .5 mm buy something else this is NOT the item advertised that was received.

I used this to transfer lions mane spawn that was growing on uncle bens brown rice into rehydrated maple and hickory pellets. I was able to fit the whole thing in an instant pot to "sterilize" and everything turned out great! The bag thickness felt similar to commercial mushroom grow kits.

Good quality bags you won't be disappointed.

I bought some used like New ones for 1$ less and more than half of them were not usable. Is what it is, other than that they were good quality and worked well

So far, these mushroom grow bags feel thicker and more durable than I expected, especially compared to some of the reviews mentioning thin material. I haven’t run them through an autoclave or pressure cooker yet, so I can’t personally speak to how well they hold up under high heat/pressure, but out of the package they seem decent in quality. I mainly use these for transfers, and for that purpose they should work just fine. One downside is that they are not self-sealing, so you’ll need to seal them yourself, which adds an extra step. Also, it wasn’t clearly indicated whether they are pre-sterilized or not, so I’ll be sterilizing them before use to be safe. Overall, they seem like a good value and should work well depending on your setup, but I’ll reserve full judgment until I’ve tested them under actual sterilization conditions. But very good price compared to others. I will know why sooner than later.And may change my review status.If needed the size of these bags seems like they're good enough for anywhere between 3 to 5 pounds of substrate. And grain
