Excellent value, holds lots of books and is really sturdy

I purchased this for my son’s birthday- he is 24. He needed something for his room that he rents to put a collection of graphic novels and some other odds and ends. It looks great. He was able to put it together himself with the tools that it came with .

This narrow bookshelf is designed to fit in small spaces, making it perfect for corners or tight areas. It's ideal for storing books, decorative items, or office supplies. I love the way it's small enough to fit in small places but has enough shelves to actually be of use! I think this is a great choice for maximizing storage in small spaces!

I wanted a small bookshelf for the living room, and this is perfect for this purpose. It is smaller, but holds a lot of books, and one thing I really like is that you can easily put the books on the shelves standing up without them falling over or needing bookends. This matched a lot of other small storage units I have perfectly, as well. Overall, this was exactly what I was looking for.

Bought 3 of these and am now feeling regret. I've bought and assembled several similar style shelves over the years and never had a problem. Putting together the first of the 3 of this brand I purchased and it's just garbage. The metal side pieces do not line up at all on one side. Neither side is perfect but one side is impossible to align correctly. You can make it look aligned but as soon as you tighten the screw it throws it off. The packaging was fine. Lots of padding, so nothing was bent during shipping. This is a manufacturing error. The first 4 pictures show how the two pieces of the one side do not align at all. You can also see a gap between the upper and lower piece of the side. The 5th picture clearly shows the manufacturing issue. You can see the gap between the insert and actual frame. The 6th picture shows what it SHOULD look like. No gap! The last picture is of the other side that does (almost) align properly, which furthers the fact this is a manufacturing issue. The side that mostly aligns is slightly off, but it's not as noticeable so I can deal with it... Now to decide if I even want to check the other 2 units I purchased or just return the lot of them. The perils of shopping on Amazon.*UPDATE* I will give the seller credit... after my initial review the seller reached out and offered compensation for the poorly manufactured item and I ultimately decided against returning the 2 unopened shelves. Opened the other 2 shelves today and guess what!! All THREE of the shelves have the same defect to varying degrees. Not surprised, very expected, and I will salvage the situation somehow... but I strongly recommend not buying these. The lack of quality control is astounding.

This shelving unit is pretty sturdy and looks nice as well. The assembly wasn’t too hard but also not a 5 mini one. Instructions were clear and everything went smoothly during assembly. The serving unit is not as big as I’d like it too be it’s rather on a narrow side. The ladder design is stylish and matches my other wide ladder style shelf. Quality seems good. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and recommend it to others.
