This is smoooooth...!!!!
The media could not be loaded. Needed a shorter slider. Currently I own a 80cm unit which I just about half of it, the rest I just carry around cause I can’t ‘CHOP’ it in half!! Whilst keyboard shopping I come across this little gem? Or potatoe? Click, click, click and boom!!! It’s on its way thank to AMZ Prime.A big long box arrived and instantly I’m thinking that the wrong one has been ordered or picked at fulfilment. It was just the packaging. A box within a box and then a case inside. Cheap looking case with a cordura style finish and red piping. Unzipped the casae and … ‘Ooooo.’ It didn’t look too bad. Inside was the slider frame and carriage, 4 screws with red anodised locking collars and rubber feet. A cheapo plastic phone clamp is included, the stretchy rubbish kind. The CF rods looked ok and so did the carriage which also had a red anodised knurled screw for tension and stopping it sliding back and forth whilst in transit.Weighty to feel but not to carry which made it feel like it was substantial and not going to snap after the first use. Assembly is easy. In the middle of the rack is a plate which allows you to use the slider on a tripod. It comes with the standard two screw sizes for tripod 3/8” and ¼” thread. So … what’s it like to use? Pretty good actually, I attached a small ball head with an ArcaSwiss plate and then an Olympus EM5 with 60mm lens. This setup probably weighs 1.5kg to 2kg. Loaded on the rig and the carriage goes back and forth pretty smoothly and with not much friction noise if any. The length is perfect for my use, table top products. It is built pretty well and sturdy and I hope to get a long time use from it but at £30 if I break it I won’t be crying, I’ll just get another one or worse case cut down my 80cm slider!! If you’ve had Neewer branded kit before and it’s put you off then don’t worry. This IS good, not just good because of the uber low price but just good regardless of the price. I’m glad I came across this little gem and I can gladly give it 5*

So good a bought a bigger one
This is an excellent camera dolly and it is very smooth and well made. There is no shake on the camera movement and you have a range of mounting options for tripods etc. You can feel that it is very high quality and well worth it.In fact, I found it so good that I went and bought the large motorised one as well. Thoroughly recommended.

Good value
Works well, good value for money and the sliding is smooth, only issue is the balance but the legs are screws so you can alter it so it's not really an issue, just can be finicky

heavy and not flexible
Can only be uses in a straight line and difficult to handle. The camera fits in a slight slanting angle and I struggled to use it. May be good for a Pro but not for a beginner. Also heavy.

Fantastic bit of kit!
I actually purchased this to help with some stop-motion animation, as it allowed me to move the camera in section-by-section on a defined path (and it worked great for this) - but I've actually been using it for tracking on product shots as you can easily pan past the product to get a nice movement effect without having to stabilise the footage afterwards!Great for zoom in/out shots too, so super versatile.

A well made product
This item is just the job for my needs. Probably on the short side if i wanted it for video use however for stereo photography it is just what i needed as its small size makes it easy to transport and use.

Great slider for the price
I was nervous about buying a slider without trying it first but checked out reviews and at this price point it's not much of a risk.I've enjoyed using it. There is a bit of a wobble when my camera gets to one end of the slider but that's to do with my tripod quick release plate needing an adjustment I think.Tried out the phone mount but don't have much need of it.It's a nice, cheap tool to use to get more creative shots than I could get without it and I'm still playing around with tripod/ ball head configurations. Might buy an extra 3/8 inch adapter to give me more options. You could pay more for motors or a longer length but this suits my needs for now.

It Wobbles!!
The item looks great and feels good but sadly it has a wobble/shakes that makes it impossible to use and you get very bad video from it. Tried a lot of the fixes online but nothing could fix it. I am returning the item.
