Boar Bristle Hair Brush, 100% Soft Bristle Brush for Fine Thin Hair

This brush did magic for my hair! I loved the soft bristles and how they didn't rip out my hair, but did make it look smooth and shiny. I do have straight hair but it tangles really easily. It didn't work the best for detangling, so I used the comb to get the bigger knots out. The brush glided through my hair, smoothing my split ends and hiding them! The set worked really well due to having both. The size of the brush works great for long and thick hair, but makes it so that it is hard to fit in purses or toiletry bags without taking up all of the space. I definitely recommend this brush as a main "getting ready" brush and not for touch ups on the go. I did try to use it on my friend who has wavy hair and it made it frizzy beyond belief, so the versatility between hair types is not the best, but the comb is great for braiding all types.

The brush is wonderful. I am 81 yrs old and a survivor of two kinds of cancer whic I obviously survived but my hair thinned and straightened with treatments. This brush is perfect for my hair now!

I bought as an extra brush for child’s tender head. But I don’t like those stiff brushes so this is a gentle brush. May not be for an adult/ thick hair. But excellent for children.

I didn't read the description well enough, as this is just too soft. I was looking for something to brush and smooth my hair back when I put it in a ponytail. It's works, after I use a "regular brush" to smooth the hair back. When used to brush my hair I can't even feel it on my scalp, and I no longer have thick hair (the affects of aging, I guess). Would probably work well on a small child's hair.

From the weight and feel of the Beachwood handle, to how it feels on my scalp. I have an autoimmune disorder that covers over half my body with a rash and it always starts on my scalp when it flares up. The boar's hair is gentle and doesn't hurt like the other brushes I have tried. I enjoy brushing my hair again. No, the comb isn't wood but the ad actually says that it's plastic, which doesn't bother me. But I do like the thickness of this comb more than the half-dozen of these plastic pointed combs I just threw away. Every other comb is so thin, it is like they're trying to see how little plastic it takes to make one to increase the profit margin. I definitely would recommend this set to anyone looking for a really nice brush set that is gentle and good quality.

While the bristles help smooth, reduce frizz, and soften even the craziest of curly hair when blow drying. The tail comb accessory is and added bonus because you can use it for cleaning out the brush or detangling your own hair or teasing your hair.
