These go under the keys, I'm not exactly sure what they do since I'm trying to do this for the first time, but they fit perfectly and replace the very old worn-out ones that literally felt apart as I removed them, I love these, and it seems to do its job and keep the key from hitting the wood below

I bought these and the 12mm balance rail felt punchings from the same manufacturer. These are completely inconsistent in thickness; they're advertised as 6mm thick, but they range from about 5.8mm to 6.5mm. A bunch of them are just sad, mis-shapen wedges.

Excellent quality punchings. I used these for the front rail on my Mason & Hamlin RBB 1927. Worked out great!

The pads are great! That's why I gave it 2 stars. However, as I am currently completely refurbishing a 60 year old piano I needed at LEAST 88. I will not buy another package just for 2 rail punchings. I am requesting to be sent either a new package or the rest of the 90 punchings as advertised.

Only 59 pads, not enough for the entire piano. Really, really annoying.

There were about 3 that were chopped in half. Other than that, just right.

No complaints, good soft cushions.

Works great on my piano size was the right size needed.
