I have had this for a few days now, and I'm very pleased. I read the negative reviews before buying, and I don't know why people had problems. The mat is hard but pliable and unrolled easily. It took a few days to flatten out completely. I was going to put it out in the sun or use a hair dryer to soften it up to help it lay flat, but that wasn't necessary. It is very transparent, which let's me see the hardwood floor well. It does slide slightly at times, but the weight of my desk chair (pretty standard with rolling wheels) and it's rotation to allow me to get out easily minimized this. I suspect the people who had problems had different chairs or highly polished floors.

Perfect size. It does slip around a little bit though.

We just refinished our floors, so wanted to protect them from my office chair. Love this mat. It's not terribly noticeable because it's clear, and it's a flexible material, not rigid. It comes rolled up, and you lay the smooth side down, which ends up being the curved side down, which helps it to flatten out. Put some heavy books or something on the ends and it lays flat pretty quickly. The chair rolls so smoothly over it, yet it does not just run away from you either. The mat stays in place, but is easy to move if needed. The size is perfect for a simple desk like mine - plenty of room to put the chair in and out. Definitely recommend!Edited: After using this mat for a longer period of time, I noticed that it does in fact move around a bit. I wish it would stay in place better. Originally I had it under part of my desk where my desk was sitting on part of it. However when I rolled around, it started to bubble up on one side. Because of that I removed 1 star.

I have no problem with slipping or it curling up once you get it straightened out. I used a hair dryer on the ends and it flattened right out no problem. You can also as they say take it out in the sun and let it bake, however I was in the middle of hurricane Helene and we can't exactly cease the sun for another day or two. Is extremely easy to put out sit down install it and then use it. And so far I haven't had any issues with scratching it or marring the surface in any way. I would get another one if I needed one. Nice

The mat does protect my floor and the wheels of my desk chair do move smoothly over it. However, when a wheel gets off the mat, the edge of the mat tends to roll up as i try to roll the wheel back on.

We needed a floor cover at my husband’s workstation for his desk chair. The wheels on the chair had begun to tear through the carpet. This floor cover was perfect! The material is flexible enough to feel comfortable under his chair and it’s not so shiny that it looks offputting over the carpet. It’s held up pretty well so far, and we’ve had it for a few months.

I just got it and took it out of the package and it did not take long at all to unflatten. Nicely packaged. So clear and smooth gliding. I love the variety of sizes. Clear is perfect for my hardwood floors. I'm ordering another size from this seller!

The mat is a little thin, but is doing its job on my tile surface. The wheels on my chair were marking up the tile, this mat eliminates that issue. It does move a round a bit, so I need to straighten it out every couple of weeks. All & all a decent value & does it's job.

Works excellent to protect my floors in my spa room. Packaged well, easy to unfold, good quality.
