Awesome knife and sheath with a very old school classic look, sheath is good quality genuine leather and the knife is excellent with a legitimate wooden handle which is my first knife with a handle material like that and I think it feels great, for 46$ this knife is definitely worth it

I was impressed with this knife the minute I took it out of the package. It is nicely finished and well-made. It's a great addition for many woodcraft jobs and camping in general. It's also great to use around the house. The blade is very sharp and holds its edge even after a hard day of work. It is also great for slicing and dicing vegetables and cutting your meat into bite-sized pieces. The hilt is nice and thick, and will take a pounding. It's easy to use this knife for splitting branches, feathering, and making kindling for your fire. The sheath is well-made and has a button instead of a snap, which I prefer. It secures the knife well. I bought the sheath that holds the knife, as well as a fire-starter. The blade of this knife creates a generous amount of sparks when struck against the firestarter. As for the price, this knife is a bargain.

Actually suprisingly nice knife! Bought it specifically just to test it and it holds up in spots but does have some notes for buying it. Tip retension ❌ stabbed it into a wooden block and the tip bent, bending back and it snapped off, if at all this knife can take a beating but dont try to pry with it Edge retension ✅ out the box it was hair shaving sharp, after cutting standard level delivery cardboard boxes 60 times the edge is still gliding sharp but not hair shaving. Very good! Handle was splintery near the handle edges but atleast its not a resin handle. Very comfortable and just enough texture to grip with your hand even while chopping wood with it The knife has these very wide grooves which personally i feel wouldve been better smaller or less spread out, but i find it words great while wearing gloves since the larger grooves grip into the glove easier The knife itself: 8/10 great for price and the edge delivers As for the sheath, pretty okay! I find that looping it from the sheath’s strap instead of the sheath’s dedicated loop is much more secure and less likely the knife will hit things. The ferro rod is also a ferro rod, nothing to complain about. Overall, great knife for price, sharp, pretty, and comfortable. Only nitpicks are the grooves on the spine but even that has it’s benefits!

This is a high quality knife with great materials, fit and construction. The blade is 1066 high carbon steel, and is plenty robust with a tang going all the way to end of the handle. It fits the hand well. It came razor sharp from the box and it stays sharp. I cut a 1 inch diameter stick to a sharp point and it was still razor sharp. The sheath with included ferro rod is well designed for fit and function. I would pick this knife for most outings. The only con is the 1066 steel will rust, so keep it clean and oiled. If stored in leather sheath it may rust, so oil the blade, always keep it oiled. To store long term, oil it, then protect the edge from cutting and store in a box OUTSIDE the sheath. I make temporary scabbards from a box with duct tape. BH on 17Aug2025

This knife gets a lot of things right; a thin blade and a thicker handle, which many manufacturers seem to get backward. The blade stock is not too thick which makes this good at doing knife things like slicing and shaving wood. The handle is nice and full. It is not the typical thin handle that manufactures usually put on knives. You can get a nice grip on the handle and it is comfortable without weird finger grooves and contours that fit only some hands. This handle should fit all hand sizes. The blade came very sharp and the grind angle seems to be suited for cutting rather than heavy duty non-knife tasks. The knife blade is wide which gives it a nice appearance but it makes it feel a lot less nimble than a knife like a mora companion. The back can scrape a ferro rod and the part of the tang with the lanyard hole is definitely sharp enough for a ferro rod and could probably scrape out a spoon. The sheath is OK. It looks nice and the leather is soft, but I would prefer the knife to secure in different way without the clasp. A stiffer leather with a friction fit is my preference. I'm still giving it 5 stars though because I really think there should be less micarta and G10 in the world and more wooden handles, and this knife got that right and I appreciate that. So far the 1066 steel seems fine. It is by no means a junk steel and also by no means a high end steel. It is a decent steel for a knife and should be more than adequate for outdoor use.

Update. This knife is made by the same place that makes cvlife knives. Same blank. I feel a little taken for a ride by them saying its ukranian made. Its a good knife but bw honest. This knife surprised me. I expected cheap and average but what i got was anything but. Pros: RAZOR sharp blade out of the box, I mean hair whittling sharp Blade is full tang with a large lanyard loop at the end, jimping on top (aggressive) and a drop point style with swedge (unsharpened swedge) Excellent blade profile for outdoor work like feather sticks, woodwork, fine work, etc. Also for meal prep and camp knife chores. Blade spine throws massive sparks on the fero rod Simple, but nice leather sheath with a solid feel and functional due to a loop for holding a fero rod Fero rod included, good quality, easy sparks, and nice finished handle, fits perfect in the sheath loop Belt loop- use as belt loop or dangler Scales are a touch small for my hands, but, smooth, finished, contoured, and nice looking wood with 3 retention screws. Cons None noticed at the time of this review. If they made a larger blade, I'd more of these, this is a good knife way beyond its price-point.

Knife seems nice and has a good size and feel to it. But the handle is much lighter color than depicted and does not look as good. It seems like it was supposed to be stained? Anyways I feels like I was misled, and it doesn't look as good as the pictures. The leather sheath also feels quite cheap. I'm gonna keep it and stain the handle myself. Just annoyed at being given a chore upon ordering.

There's a few imperfections, that I'm willing to let slide since it's somewhat handmade. The edge bevel was a bit uneven on each side. I enjoy the full tang. It's good for camping. I used it to baton and chop veggies, make a chili. Cut rope, open packaging. Make kindling. It did everything I needed. Happy with it.

Love it

This is a very sharp, well made knife with a sheath that has a loop for a belt and a pocket for a ferro rod. It's definitely a bushcraft knife that I highly recommend. My only issue is the ferro rod that came with it-the wooden handle comes off when striking-which is annoying. Otherwise, the knife itself and the sheath are very good value and I's already used it to make tinder and split kindling.

Husband loves this knife. A really good knife for a low price. It’s so far out preformed more expensive ones in durability and looks. It has been used for the past two weeks to help split small pieces of wood for our fire pit and woodstove. It has done very well and has not damaged. Definitely will be going on camping trips with us. Great buy!

A reasonably priced knife. Like the feel of the handle, nice and sharp. The sheath is a beautiful leather. For the price wasn't expecting such a well crafted knife & sheath. Handle a weekend of bushcrafting with no pro
