Patriot Scorch 128GB NVMe M.2 PCIe Solid State Drive Up to 1700MB/s Read Transfer Speeds

I bought this because it runs at half the speed, which is PCIE 3.0x2, so it doesn't get as hot as the ones that runs at full speed PCIE 3.0x4 which tend to die more quickly, and I still get read and write at much higher speeds than Sata SSD, and it been working pretty well so far.

Still using it today!

This tiny little M.2 drive was easy to install and configure, unlike most of the bulky SATA based SSD's. It took only a minute to pop the chip into the M.2 port on my motherboard, snap it in place and reboot the computer. It did require initialization through the Disk Manager, but that was expected. Read and Write times on testing matched almost exactly with the specified specs. Very happy with this product. It cut my Windows Boot Up time in half.

This is an affordable drive. You can find faster and larger ones but will be paying for that. I am using this in Brix mini-computer for the boot drive and it works very well. So far I have no complaints, it is doing its job. If you need a solid boot drive this is an affordable option.

This with a fresh install of Windows 10 and my new laptop now boots up in less than 15 seconds. Buttery smooth all around, no more lag waiting for programs to load-as long as they're installed on this drive. Also added an Intel 2x2 Mimo wireless card and web pages in Chrome load like they're on fire! After install I formatted the 1tb sata drive that was running windows and now use it for storage only. (Just make sure you unplug the old sata drive before installing Windows on this NVMe.)

Put the Patriot Scorch 256GB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD into my new Dell inspiron 1500 laptop. Watched some youtube, downloaded some free partition copying software and copied the OS to it. Then set the bios to boot up from the SSD. Works great.Too bad dell stopped putting easy access covers on the bottom of their laptops - you now have to take off the WHOLE bottom to get to anything. Once you get the bottom off, its easy-peasy as the M.2 SSD slot is there to just pop it in - there is even a hold-down screw already there.

This drive is morbidly fast and has been stable in the month we've been using it. Time will tell if it holds up long term.

This NVMe card was working out well for a bit, but then windows 10 went to rev 1903 and that killed support for this device. I already had this in the computer, and windows 10 refused to update. I tried both deleting the drivers and disabling it to no avail. I removed the card physically, and windows 10 finally updated. I'll plug this in again soon and see what's up. The complaint windows gives is about an AMD raid driver. I didn't have this raided. My other disk was a samsung SSD.

Installed easily, capacity matches label, speed approximately matches label and makes system boot up super fast. Only remaining unknown is longevity of the drive, but so far so good after a couple of weeks.

This is fast and just perfect

ThinkPad X270のＮＶＭｅモデルはGen.3 x 2という規格なので、選択肢が限られます。その中での最大容量を購入。今のところ問題なく使えています。１ＴＢがあればなお良しなのでしょうが、Ｘ２で出てくれることを期待です・・・・。
