Really, really good stuff.
An eye-opening read for anyone outside of the NY/CA liberal elite. Her perspective on SF was particularly jarring…then hopeful.God bless Texas.

Interesting recap of the early 2020’s
An interesting and sometimes maddening recap of the culture war madness of the early 2020’s. Nellie is a funny and deft writer and she does a good job of summing up all the craziness of the cultural unraveling in America, but the writing itself sometimes feels incomplete. It occasionally feels as though she assumes the reader knows everything knows and so it is OK to leave some things out, or to let sentences trail off. Some of the information she presents could also have been presented in a tighter format, with more details.

Nellie gets it!
Those of us in the mental health business have seen our clients suffer anxiety, depression, and confusion over not being able to keep up with social fads incongruent with reality. Ms. Bowles is spot on and provides a comprehensive list of deceit, falsehoods, gaslighting and illogical thinking that found it's way into our culture. Most psychologists attribute this to cell phones and social media sharing the blame for this malady. If somehow your own thinking can't accept obviously false ideas that are seeming universally accepted then individuals, many who became our clients, suffer anxiety about not being part of the tribe.Nellie offers a great deal of insight, finally, about what went wrong. Therapists, of course, know that insight, as opposed to no sight or outsight, is the best way for people to change their perceptions, reframing if you will. Glad to see that happened spontaneously with the author who provides an opportunity for her insight to became a readers outsight which provides a profound difference in those stuck in the no sight zone. A good read....

Good read
Nellie is a great writer. Surprisingly candid inside view of a liberal mind during chaotic times.

This book is a classic
People on all sides of the political spectrum should read this. It really illuminates the absurd mess we've gotten ourselves into. Did you know that the prestigious medical journal Lancet describes women as "bodies with vaginas"? And Johns Hopkins Universary's glossary of terms for clinicians defines the term lesbian as "a non-man attracted to non-men"? Whatever happened to the word women? Did you know that, according to Boston Children's Hospital, toddlers can often tell they are transgender? Signs include refusing to get a haircut or trying to stand to urinate? These are just a few of my favorite tidbits from the book. Read the book for more valuable cultural insights.

nellie did the spadework
Then failed at the kill. As a journalist, she should call Chris Rufo, if she’s truly interested. He has progressed to action.

It's a Book and It's Good
Nuanced, interesting, and most importantly Funny... Morning After is what it's all supposed to be about, varied opinions, perspectives, freedom, fun, and snacks (well you could prepare and enjoy your own as you read it). Ms. Bowles is a real talent and a real person, buy her book and read it quick before all the censorious, tantrum-throwing, Ivy League children get hold of it and burn it (or forcibly have it removed from your Kinndle).

Engaging, entertaining.
A very engaging, entertaining account of the absurdity and danger of the cultural Left. What a terrible shame that today's politics offers no serious, sober alternative to them.

Refreshing and factual perspective
Nellie’s experience speaks to a lot of regular people who do feel that the way certain ideologies captured the elites and the world is irrational and threatening. Great factual presentation of event that took place in America over the past years and thought provoking questioning of the motives behind those movements
