Use sparingly for thickining.
I haven’t really tasted this product. I believe it is food-grade and is listed as such. The amount that you get for the value of money you spend is well above the amount of product you have in comparison. The quality works very well for thickening up solutions. I use this specifically for homemade face masks and creating a cavitation solution that is similar to aloe vera. When you add salt to aloe vera, it breaks it down to thicken the aloe vera. Adding this product makes it strong again. It’s very easy to use. It comes with a small scoop. However, the small scoop has a long stem on it, so I recommend cutting it off so it fits back into the container. After you use it, you don’t want to leave the container open; it will absorb moisture from the air. This is worth the buy.

As expected
I have not used this to make "caviar" yet because I didn't realize that you need calcium lactate, too. So I will just verify that the item I received matched the description and photo in the listing.
