Wiring is coated nicely and sealed very well at the rear bottom of the housing. I installed these in the rear bumper of my Silverado so we'll see how they hold up to my gravel road and Oklahoma Spring rains. They feel like very solid units. Only downside is the hardware that holds the light to the bezel have very fine threads so one of them stripped out when attaching the light back to the plate during install which is the only reason I took a star away. Granted, I was probably a little tough on it, but I'll just purchase another little allen head screw and it'll be good as new. Came very well packed, but no instructions for ease of install, gotta kinda figure out the best way to mount them on your own which for myself was no big deal but for someone with little to no mechanical skills may be an issue. Once connected to my reverse lights they are very bright. They lit up my whole driveway which is approximately 225 feet in length.
