Worked like a charm
Worked like a charm Freezer died. I tested the starter relay and it was definitely bad. Unfortunately, an exact replacement was $80, more than I wanted to spend on a 30-year-old freezer. Found this one for $15 and gave it go. Easy to install, just had to splice a few wires since it's not an exact replacement for the one I had. About a 1/2 hour job. Seems to be some concern about how long it will last, so if it fails, I'll update this comment. Otherwise, assume it's still working... FYI: Put this on a White-Westinghouse model MFC15M3BW1 14.8 cu ft chest freezer, replacing original starter relay part #216008900, compressor #216138400

Easy to use

A $20 part that saved a whole refrigerator
Installed this and it brought the fridge right back to life. Compressor was struggling to start and this fixed it immediately. Simple install and it saved me from replacing the entire refrigerator over one stupid problem. If you know what youโre doing, this is a no-brainer.

Great for emergency
Item got here fast. Used it for our kenmore coldspot 106 side by side. If the instruction were a little more detailed it would've gotten 5 stars.

It Lives!!!!
This was the perfect solution for the old resistor on the fridge. It's fairly simple to replace, and easy to tuck away after it's repaired. A much more cost effective way to repair than calling out a service van. I am thankful.
