Well worth the money.
Save your arm strength for something else.....This mixer is great and gets the job done. It's easy to use and clean. best part is no more stirring! The clarity of the resin after using this and the de-gasser, is beautiful. There are tiny shells inside of the octopus which are clearly seen. Great product.

Absolutely Worth It—A Game-Changer for Resin Mixing
I was resistant to shelling out the money for this and instead was hand mixing my resin but this is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. Not only does my shoulder no longer hurt from mixing, the advantage to this is that it mixes a large volume (although please note in the instructions it does say not to do a full 32 oz.), the lid is rechargable so youre not limited to being close to an outlet and the mixing vessel also acts like your pouring vessel. It is durable and a great value for the money. Easy to use and not so big that it's in the way.

No availability for another Silicone Cup that fits the motor head
**This is a updated review as I've had contact with Let's Resin.** I had requested to them as to where i could order a replacement cup for the motor head...Guess What Folks....They do not offer this cup!! PERIOD. They said to use one of the disposable plastic cups offered online...and guess what!!! They DON'T FIT. We'll maybe they might but without the paddle...So IF you somehow damaged the cup that came with this "New Updated" motorhead and cup, you are out of luck and you would then have to order a whole new kit, motor and cup. Disappointing as this is such a awesome tool for my toolbox of Epoxy Resin items. It has made my processes cut time down by half. My disappointment is that if i need another silicone cup that fits this motor head, they do not offer it. I've tried all of my silicone cups and they don't fix securely and I cant find any online. So, originally i gave 4 stars but now ive taken down to 1, which was the lowest i could go. I had hoped that I missed it somewhere... But I did not . So, Please reread my update at the top of this review...

I love the silicone cup
I have the original version of this mixer that used replaceable plastic cups. It worked well for a bit, but cleaning those cups was difficult, and replacing them seemed like a extra expense. The button on my original mixer went out, so I got the new version with the silicone cup. First I love the cup. Silicone is so much easier to clean than plastic. The mixer itself seems the same as the old one, but Ive only used it once so far. Hopefully the button is a bit more durable.

Not Easily Cleaned
I give this product 3 stars because it does mix the resin (usually after two 40-second blends) and it is very easy to use, but I have a major issue with what the company terms "Effortless Cleaning." There's nothing streamlined or speedy in the cleaning process. Yes, the cup is made of silicone, but it's no easier to clean than any other silicone cup. Nothing unique about it. Worse, the hard stirring blades are definitely not easy to clean. Per the instructions, "Once the resin cures, materials can be easily peeled away, readying you for your next creative endeavor." Cured resin adheres to the stirring blades and rarely peels off and never easily. I've spent an hour already trying to peel off the cured resin with the provided tool and by hand, and the only parts that come off easily are larger clumps (like in the bottom of the cup where a bunch of resin ended up because it wouldn't all come out easily when pouring). If I can't get all the little specks off, I may have ruined my mixer on the very first batch. Very disappointed in the cleaning process. I'd suggest cleaning the parts immediately after use with alcohol and not letting it cure. I might also note that it stirs fairly fast, leaving a lot of small bubbles in the mixture. So, be prepared to take care of those to ensure you don't end up with a bunch of bubbles in your finished product. The photos are of the cup and blades after I'd already cleaned on them for a while (obviously still not finished) and the last two are of the wasted resin from the bottom of the cup and the mat that caught what came off the blades while pouring mixed resin from the cup.

Resin mixer
Like this very much. I had a smaller one hand held but the handle broke during use and stop mixing. My only complaint is the silicone is hard to clean and you never get all the resin or sticky stuff out of the container once you use it.
