Perfect length for eating food out of dehydrated meal bags and MREs and stiring foods in a pot. It comes with its own little storage bag which helps keep it clean and ready for use. comfortable mouth feel as well. Short sporks are mediocre versions of their single purpose relatives. Gid rid of them and switch to a long handled titanium spoon.

If you're not eating out of the bag you probably don't need a spoon this long but if you are eating out of the bag you definitely need a spoon this long.There's no reason to spend more on a spoon. This one is designed and made perfectly well.

I have a tall coffee cup that none of my spoons reach the bottom of so I ordered this. I found this to be perfectly acceptable and it IS light and sturdy. Shipped on time. I gave it 4 instead of 5 as I don't care for the handle and wish it were thicker than the bowl of the spoon as it's not that comfortable to hold. But then again it's designed for camping and hiking for which purpose this is perfectly suitable.

Field tested this in Zion National Park in the backcountry. Worked perfectly. Totally worth it.

I've attached a small rare earth magnet on the inside top of the handle. This makes it easy to lift metal lids off of my cook set when boiling water or heating up meals.A great addition to my ultra light camp cook set.
