Is this as good as 74W-90 which ised in semi trucks hubs and differentialls? Which one better for bearings?

I sell the full synthetic 75w90 to the hub/axle manufacturer. It is used in their heavy-duty axles and differentials. The 75w140 is the same product just a different viscosity grade.

It may require more or less friction modifiers. I would not recommend adding anything to an oil--it either meets the requirements of a certain spec or it doesn't. Adding the wrong additive that is not compatible with something else in the formula and it could cause major issues such as fallout, precipitate, or gelling.
