the size seems accurate for other pens of this style, and the brown is nice and warm without being too light. i tested every pen and they all wrote smoothly right off the bat. a great purchase if you do lot of ink work!

Plenty of ink for large projects. Easy and comfortable to hold. Quality ink, a dense black and pretty to look at. A fair price. The flow is consistent for my speed of movement in my drawing style. I do not have to go back or start over. They donot skip or "blank" out, ever.

Great pens for my landscape sketches

I was super excited to receive these pens. I like to do line and wash and was happy to get a brown pen which is my preference. I had purchased one recently and mistakenly got one that was not waterproof. It ruined my painting. So to get a 5 pack was awesome. However, when I tested them out they are not what I would call brown. I was hoping and expecting more of a sepia or raw umber color. Nope. These look more red than brown. Not at all what I’m looking for or a color I would use for that purpose. Such a bummer. Three stars because the write/draw very nicely. I love the fine tip. So if you want brown this is not it.
