Great for barre work
Good box support, a little too strong in the shank but for beginners that's ok. I use these for barre work and stretching, just practice at home and they work great. The ribbon they come with is a little short, but you can buy a spool of the textured stuff for 2 bucks. The toe pads, included, are REALLY nice, and by themselves are about 20 bucks. I'll be buying these again!

Good quality, needs larger sizes
For less than $25 you'll receive good quality shoes, two different toe pad options and matching ribbon. The only downside was that I wasn't able to buy these in my size. I measured my foot and purchased accordingly but they were just too small. I really tried to make it work because I loved everything else about it; the width of the box on the shoe, the color and type of fabric and ESPECIALLY the sillicone toe pads! Sadly I just couldn't squeeze my foot in there.

They're Amazon quality, not ballet quality.
That should be obvious, but I want to state that for those thinking that they can get a true pointe shoe for under $30. No. You can't.*fair disclaimer, I am not a ballerina. You can get a shoe that you can adequately get en pointe with, and is otherwise cosplay quality. Like, better than box store Halloween costume quality, definitely. I wouldn't necessarily say the quality is poor by any means. It simply can not measure up to a true pointe shoe. Now that that is out of the way, fit was OK. A tad longer in the heel than I thought it would be. And maybe it's just because I've never owned pointe shoes other than these, but the box is a tad strange. Like, too big all around my foot. Length of the box is OK, but the rest seems large. They break in decently, and the pads/cushions are quite nice. It came with one cut of ribbon that you have to cut and there was no loops or such to attach them to the shoe. I ended up buying a roll of ribbon from the store because I did not like how short the ribbon was it came with. I then sewed the new ribbon to the shoe so that I can tie them on. There is no other strap or anything like some true ballet shoes often have to hold it in place.Overall, if you just want some pointe shoes to kick it in and bust out some semi believable ballet moves in, and overall look the part, these are it.But please if you're a ballet student or parent with a child who is a ballet student, go ahead and get these for bonking about on the garage floor maybe so you don't mess up your real shoes, but get REAL pointe shoes for practice and performances. So, the photo is with the one ribbon tied horribly on just one shoe. That's why it looks dumb.I don't have any others I can post right now. I twisted my ankle shortly after receiving these and have been cautious not to reinjure it by jumping back into my nonsense with these shoes too quickly. *injury was sidewalk and clumsy related, not at all related to the shoes.

Not for Dancers
Shoes are not for any type of real dancing. First, there's no way to accurately be fitted in some 'standard shoe' for pointe work. These were cheap so I figured I'd test them. Look cute from a distance but fell apart after one use at rehearsal (actually less than 1 hours of that); the ribbons are a joke so I sewed in my own. No elastic. The box is not wooden and the shank is very long for the shoe. Buy for looks only--excellent photography prop or for costume use: a star for that. Stick with Capezio or Gaynor Mindens if you are dancing--get what you pay for.

I absolutely love my ballet shoes I cannot believe they are such ...
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love my ballet shoes I cannot believe they are such great quality for this price, amazing, what a steal! I bought these for my ballet studying at home. Ready to get a matching leotard. 🤸😝Video correction my ballet shoes are stamped size 43and FYI to those nasty comments, google it ballet shoes are made of card board, fabric and glue.anything else is extra and will cost as such....and real dancers go through 3 pairs a week on average. so stop crying or cough up $$$$ for an expensive pair.

Pretty shoe
We bought these as a decoration for a grandchild's room, so I can't really speak to the quality of the toe shoe for its intended purpose. That said, one observation I have:The ribbons come in a separate plastic sleeve, which protects them nicely. However, there is no apparent way to attach the ribbons to the toe shoes which is what we assumed was possible. I guess the ribbon is designed to simply go under the arch of dancer's foot and not be attached to the shoe. This may be great for dancing (which, of course, is the intended primary use of the shoe!) but didn't work for us and the use we had in mind. All that said, the shoe is very attractive and seems pretty well made. I see various comments about the shoe from a dancer's perspective, but can't comment either way.
