**Q: Does this catch coffee grounds?**
A: While I’ve not personally attempted to strain coffee grounds I believe it should catch grounds which are coarse. It’s caught a lot of tiny debris for me during the remodel of our kitchen for which I’ve been highly impressed.

**Q: Are they truly 4.5 inches in diameter?**
A: 4 3/8 based on my tape measure so just a hair under 4.5 inches.

**Q: Where are they made?**
A: I believe they are stainless steel.  I really love this product, I even put it in the top portion of the dishwasher for cleaning.

**Q: maybe it's difficult to deal with the waste?**
A: Not at all, I just empty the debris in the side with the garbage disposer and turn it on. Love these strainers, they are terrific.

Nice and useful product. It’s thick and and size fits well. The water flows easily and the solids get trapped as needed. It’s not sharp and easy to use. Only issue is that the ring and net are two pieces stocked together, thus many a times garbage get stuck in them and require regular cleaning. But overall a good product.
