Suitable for the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade 2004 onwards where the central hole is NOT used for a steering dampening system. Developed for use on motorcycles where a handlebar mounting option is not possible or desirable. Designed to fit using the cylindrical bore wall (steering head tube) of the fork stems. Fits fork stem with holes 20.5mm-24.5mm (0.81" - 0.96") Supplied with a IPX4 waterproof soft case which protect from rain showers & damp weather. Light weight - made from Aluminium. Attaches easily to the steering head tube of fork stems. To Fit: Simply drop the Fork Stem Motorcycle attachment into the hole of the stem and tighten. The split shaft will expand to fit the inside wall of the fork stem Use an Allen Key to tighten to create a tight fit. Ensure that the hole is NOT used by a steering dampener system. The mount is attached to the soft case via the custom made Addons adaptor plate which slides on to the 3 prong fixing on the reverse of the case. Please ensure the adaptor plate is properly attached before taking to the road. Once positioned, slide until you hear the reassuring CLICK. Failure to fit the case correctly can result in it becoming detached from the mounting option. Case can be turned 360 degrees ideal for satnav & map applications. Note: To maintain the water resistant properties of this case there's no cable entrance. This case should not be submerge underwater.
