Thick Mylar Pouches
These are nice heavy duty mylar pouches! Sealed on 3 sides, so they don’t have the gussets bottoms to stand up, but that’s ok. I was disappointed to see that they came with silica packages, NOT oxygen absorbers like I thought, but that’s my fault - I should’ve read the listing closer. I will say that you won’t be able to fit a ton in it, due to the flat seals, but they’ll probably stack relatively well!

Nice bags for longer-term storage of our home freeze-dried foods.
These bags are a nice a nice quart size and reasonable thickness for our longer-term storage of our home freeze-dried foods. They don't have a see-thru area, which makes them less desirable if you are going to sell items and want them to be seen, but are better if you are trying to retain the most nutrient value, like we are. They come with packets labeled as "deodorizers" which I'm not sure what those are (the listing says Oxygen Absorbers, but I've never seen an oxygen absorber listed as a deodorizer, so we haven't used them at all). They also come with some little labels, which we may use elsewhere, but for our purposes, these wouldn't really work well. I feel they are too small for recording what is inside and the date it was packed unless you write very small (the labels are only about 1"x2").I subtracted one star due to not knowing what the "deodorizer" packets are (I feel like that's a bit of a hazard), and I don't have calipers to measure the thickness of the bags, but I'm not sure they are actually 10mil. I feel they would suffice for storage of items under 5 yrs, but not sure I would store items for 20+ yrs (hence, longer-term, not long-term).

Very durable, and thick. Had to buy new sealer without vacuum to seal. Will purchase again.
