NRS Healthcare Kitchen Spread Board

embarrassed to give this for Xmas now
This was way smaller than I imagined and with tiny pads on the bottom, I can’t see it helping my tall, large handed Brother in law who had a stroke. It has a removable plastic hole that does nothing I can see - except have the possibility of buying an additional spike! Why not either not have the hole or put the spike in with it as an option? I feel embarrassed to give this as the gift I intended now to be honest so will quietly give it to my sister and buy him something else. Very disappointed

Very useful.
Bought this for my best friend when she broke her arm. " Hurrah!" She said, " I can slice my toast now!" Would have found it difficult with out this. And now, another friends mum has done the same thing so off it sped down the road! Wonderful. Would recommend.

Useless waste of money
This isn't useful or even good. The rubber stops actually make it more slippery. I tried it when it arrived zero effect to stopping it, in fact it took away any friction than using just bread. Don't buy.

Does the job well
But remove the annoying rubber centre foot otherwise it will turn around like a turntable.

Works good design
I fitted bigger none slip pads and this is great fore somone with only use of one hand

Works..sort of..
The idea is good in principal, but as mentioned in other reviews the rubber pads that are meant to stop it slipping don't work well at all. However, I found putting a heavy jam jar or something similar on one side makes the board workable.I have used it and it has been well worth the money, but don't be fooled by the video, its not that easy.

its useless
i dont like this its useless, my right arm doesnt work, there are five rubbers that are supposed to stick to the counter and they dont work making it useless!

It enables a person with one arm to spread his toast etc.
Try spreading butter on toast with one hand - its impossible. This bit of kit works well but it does slip so has to be pushed up against the back of the work surface. It is a great asset.
