Handy reference for scouts and others
I keep this attached to my backpack. While I often need knots, it is not a skill I exercise enough to always remember which knot I need or how to tie it.This is a handy, easy to follow reference. It is sturdy enough to stand up to the elements. A must have addition to any backpack.

love the Quality
The cards individual cards are THICK! like roughly twice as thick as a credit card. The cable is nice to keep them all together and the pack hangs by my ropes when not in use. The value I get from not having to remember these knots is worth a few bucks. The cards function well and all fit together in a shirt pocket. its easy to flip through the cards and you dont have to worry about saving you page when you put them down to tie the knot. would recommend

"Knot" just for tree climbers
Here is a good little item to have around in a vehicle or on your work bench. Most people know how to tie 2-3 knots, the common ones used daily. There are times when you may need more function out of the knot you are using but it just won't hold or is impossible to untie afterwards. Out of the 14 knots shown on the cards, there are at least 6 that can be used by almost everyone at least a couple of times a year. You go to the hardware store, the nursery or even the Christmas tree farm and need to securely tie something to your vehicle. These cards will have a knot you can tie and feel safe that when the car behind you is riding your bumper, because you are going to slow, your items won't fall off the car, even if you wish they did at that time. Your insurance company will love you for it. My only dislike, I wish the cards were just a bit larger for my old eyes to read.
