It took us two days to put it together. There were so many pieces, so many bolts, and the directions weren't entirely specific so you have to analyze the picture to figure out how so.e things fit together.There are many surfaces that look and feel like they are paper. They are not glossed or finished, including the desktop. The bolts showing on the front of the drawers are a little unsightly.Overall it seems pretty sturdy, except for the slats supporting the mattress. They are fine for my 5 year old, but I doubt they would hold the 300lb they say it is rated for. It creaks and bows when an adult puts weight on it.I don't know that I would buy it again.

I purchased this product for my daughter. I am a fairly good handyman thus very familiar with Ready To Assemble (RTA) furniture.It has been years since I purchased a furniture piece that isn't 100% solid wood, yet, the little princess prescribed this product.The product arrived in 3 separate boxes containing hundreds of pieces.While the frame took about an hour, the dresser itself took abou 2 hours reveling substandard craftsmanship (nuts pre-drilled housing will not fit, see-through paint coating, a nail was hammered to one of the pieces for no reason and flimsy falling apart choice of materials and material.Furthermore, the product description is misleading as there's no MDF here rather particle wood for pretty much with the exception of the bedframe EVERYTHING (Dresser, Selves, Stairs) is made out of a fragile particle wood panels with the exception of the bed frame that is made of very low-density pine suseptible to dents and scratches.There are plenty of similar bunkbeds in the market made of solid wood at a similar or lower price
