The latest book in the series is as gripping as the others and even more heartwarming. The themes of friendship, love and grief come together beautifully. Each book brings forth fills more detail and colour into the beloved characters. Loved it.

Review of The Last Devil to Die — one of the most thought-provoking novels in the The Thursday Murder Club series. This time, the gang is up against heroin dealers, with multiple murders unfolding through the story. Joyce is completely herself — vibrant, adorable, and finally taking the front seat in solving the mystery and theft. Ron doesn’t have much to do here, while Ibrahim feels a little too verbose at times. Elizabeth and Stephen’s storyline takes an emotional turn, and it was beautifully written. It really makes you reflect on life and the choices we make. Richard Osman has written it brilliantly, and the quotes throughout the novel are wonderful. A must-read for Thursday Murder Club fans — though I’d definitely recommend reading the previous books first to fully enjoy and understand the characters and their journey. Lovely read overall.

With every new story of the Thursday Murder Club series, one falls more in love with our beloved pensioners. Reminding us of the very first novel, the plot of The Last Devil to Die was fast, interesting, full of heart and turns. The only drawback, if you’re a fan of the series, you can see the ending almost 3/4 chapters before the novel comes to a close. But even that didn’t stop me from enjoying every page and every character’s progression thoroughly.

The Last Devil To Die is a Richard Osman classic. It dvelves deep into the world of antiques, dementia and murders. With enough clues through the pages, the book is a page turner.

This book is a perfect blend of mystery and Humor, much like the other novels in this series. This is a fitting culmination to the series!

Richard, I hope you are happy and this was the reaction you imagined. Broke the heart so many times. This wasn’t a murder mystery, this was a long good bye. Sigh. The murder club will be missed.

I took too long to read it because of circumstances and not the book's content, ; but that spoilt it a bit for me. Don't do what I did!

The gang is back at it again. Unexpected twists, infused with hilarity and sadness in equal measures. Can’t wait for their next adventure.

So much more than a murder mystery though that in itself is so engaging i couldn't put the book down! As the story unfolded and the characters continue to evolve, I found myself holding back tears as a doctor who works with dementia patients and their families - Osman has a gift of balancing adventure, mystery and the heartfelt themes of the novel itself. I cant wait for the next book!

Thoroughly enjoyed, laughed out loud at times, got teary eyed at others. I love this whole Thursday Murder Club series. Richard Osman's characters come alive.
