I usually get irritated by electric shavers - this one worked great and caused no irritation. Instructions say to "push the skin guard attachment into the v-shaped head," but there is no separate attachment - must be built in - when I asked Rufus the answer was that there is no additional skin guard for the v-shaped head - didn't need anything else. The beard hair trimmer is useless at trimming my mustache, but that is not what I bought this one for. Battery depleting very slowly - digital power display is nice.
