Great phone for my husband who doesn’t do technology, he can dial out & answer a call which is all he needs to do, although it does much more.

Take care when reading reviews as there are reviews for the C1 and C1+ mixed in with reviews for the A400 4G. I got this artfone A400 4G Big Button Mobile Phone for my sister who has macular degeneration and she appreciated the big buttons and also what the description fails to mention, a great feature in that this phone has "Talking Numbers" i.e. a clear voice announces the numbers as they are pressed. (this is in addition to the side button which will announce the time) This is excellent for people with poor eyesight. I feel, as others have commented, that the fonts could be larger. It was fairly simple to set up. The charging cradle is quite light so I fixed it to the table with double sided sticky pads to keep it from moving . I would think that with the cost of BT calls and the digital switch over from copper lines in Jan. 2027, many older folk will use mobiles like this as their landline, keeping it permanently at home so it would be handy if these pads were included. One gripe, the charging cable is on the short side.

Bought this for my 93 year old Dad who struggled to see the screen on his old Nokia and couldn't get on with an Android phone. This seems perfect! Have had a play with it and the phone itself is nice and big with large and easy to press buttons. It's actually quite light too which is a plus. One thing to note - I had to changing the "Input method to "Abc" so match the style of his old Nokia and typing by pressing one button multiple times to get the right letter. To do this, start writing a message and then press the # key once. Then find Abc in the list and press Number 4 on the phone to select it. The screen itself seems decent enough although it would be nice to increase the font size even more. I had to turn the contrast down from full to about half way to make it easier to see. Other than that, really happy with this for my Dad

Seemed like a really nice handset when it arrived. The recipient was really happy until I went to put the SIM card in, it would fit so had to return it 😞

Arrived quickly great price and quality, purchased for my 82 year old mother who actually uses it with confidence.

A couple of issues with the SIM card at first but the provider sent a new one out. Elderly parent is struggling to use as yet even though the keys are the same. She had a flip phone before. Looks good and appears to be value for . Issues with charging initially. I’m sure they will eventually get on with it, should have bought the same as previous buy it didn’t support 4g. Any major issues I will update the review

Smashing. Upgraded my wife's artfone (3G) to this one and it's ideal for her. Large buttons (arthritis)and as she only uses the phone it's all she needs. Good size and comfortable for her to use. Stuck a memory card in it so she can progress to photos if she wants and just switched the SIM card over. Working within 5 minutes out of the box. Delivery was excellent, tried a local pick up point for the first time and it all went well.
