SuperSprings SSR-313-54 Pair of Rear SumoSprings with Mounting Hardware

These were easier to install than the front Sumo Springs and they do seem to improve overall handling and ride. I installed them shortly after getting my camper van because virtually everyone who had tried them said they made a significant improvement. They seem to be working fine three years later.

These were intalled on an already RV converted Promaster 3500.I removed one of the spacers and after install they sit 1/4 inch above leaf springs. Takes potholes much better and most of all, corners much more level with little to no sway. Hopefully this will also eliminate ,or drastically reduce, wind sway during highway miles.

These are great springs and well made, hence the 5 star review. I had a bear of a time getting the old bump springs off (only 30k miles). I hammered away with a sludge hammer and chisel and it was slow going even with rust cutting spray. Then, the worst thing happened (twice actually), the nut welds broke..... I ended up using a reciprocating saw to cut the old bolts off, touched up the paint, then used a locking washer on the nut side when I installed the new Sumos. It's tricky to get a loose washer and nut into the channel, but it is possible. I then used a screwdriver to jam the nut, while tightening the Sumo down. Hope this helps if anyone breaks their weld on the old nut.

Bought these and the front ones as well for our 2022 Dodge ram Promaster 3500 travel van. Easy in install, and the ride difference is huge. Wife thought it wasn't a smart purchase till we test drove it with the new springs. You will not be sorry you bought these.

SuperSprings were easily installed and have performed as expected. They have stiffened up the ride in my Travato 59g and increased the clearance by an inch. Installation was as easy as jacking up the rear of the RV (one side at a time) and unscrewing the original bump stops and screwing the SuperSprings in. I did not remove the wheel as others had suggested.

These are great comparisons to the original springs on a promaster! Best up grade part for suspension. Be aware for promasters my original springs had to cut off because of the inside bolts ect being exposed to weather over time ect. Otherwise easy installation.

I ordered this product based upon the good reviews on Amazon and YouTube. Installation on a used vehicle was Alot harder than on anew one. I spent all of 3.5 hours disassembling one of the bump stops. The other side went alot easier(thank goodness). The product it self is great and really does improve the ride. But be aware that installation can be a pain if the original part doesn't want to play all when uninstalling.
