Simax Glassware 6106 Round Casserole with Lid, 1.6-Quart

This is SO GREAT. I'm 71. I've owned a lot of things like this but THIS is the best of them all. I LOVE IT. It is great for cooking anything and the lid is so cool. It can go up or down, and I use it as a plate. It is LIGHT and it goes from fridge to microwave. Buy it. You won't regret it.

Dish is very thick, so makes it heavy. The lid is hard to remove since the handles on the dish and the lid handles are tight together.Smaller than I thought but works well for small meals for 1 or 2.

This product is exceptionally well-designed for ease of use, flexibility (lid goes on either way up, and drips only back into pot in both cases) and nice enough to serve from as well as cooking.More expensive than cheap junk with poor fit and finish, actually made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass vs. most of the "Pyrex"-branded and similar soft-glass cookware that is often poorly annealed and always sensitive to thermal shock.

I love the feel of the dish…you can feel a real quality difference…also a perfect size for the two of us and a smaller microwave. Lid also makes a nice shallow dish.

i have lots of receipts and like to cook with glass....this is nice product works for me,,,

Compact storage

This is more durable than pyrex. The 1.5qt size is hard to find!! ~Perfect!

A high quality glass casserole! Excellent for steaming vegetables, and simmering beef dishes!!
