Easy to install and operate.
I purchased this gate while we were dog-sitting and needed to keep a tiny puppy from disappearing up the stairs. This arrived while I was out of town, so my daughter installed it without me, though she felt that the extensions were a little difficult to attach. The instructions are easy to follow (just tighten until you see the green lines!) and the gate is easy to operate with one hand with a pull-then-lift motion that will probably perplex your three-year old child ;-) The gate latches securely and feels very sturdy, whether opened or closed. The latch also has a red/green indicator for correct tensioning, and it's easy to tell by feel as you latch it that it is properly closed. I really like the tension-mount installation and the easy moveability - I wish they'd made gates this easy back when my kids were young enough to need them!

Absolutely love this baby gate. We have a small house with a narrow hallway and chunky baseboards and this was so easy to install and worked with all the different measurements since each arm adjusts. Sturdy and easy to open. Feels secure and safe most importantly.

Dream come true for parents that don’t want holes in their walls
This gate was really easy to set up and it is a dream come true for parents that have to rent or just don’t want to put holes in their wall. It’s extremely sturdy and I love that you can adjust the bottom so that it can swing both ways or to make it only swing a specific way. I had a hard time finding a baby gate that didn’t require being screwed into the wall and I’m so glad I didn’t give up because it’s amazing!!

Hard to remove/reinstall frequently
Easy to use but takes a bit of time to remove/reinstall. This is for when our grandson visits so we don’t leave it up all the time. It’s not super practical if it needs to be removed and reinstalled frequently. The nut (x4) that one tightens and releases is very narrow which makes it even more difficult. The gate itself is good.

Fantastic and secure with no screws needed! Very easy to latch and unlatch gate mechanism for safe to get through.
