If you have ever assembled an IKEA cabinet, dresser drawers or shelving, you have the necessary skills to assemble this machine. It is easier to assemble with 2 people. Our assembly took 4 hours. It comes with the necessary 17mm and 19mm wrench and alan wrenches. We used our own socket wrenches, but it was nice to see that the necessary tools to assemble the machine were included. I will keep these nearby just in case I need tighten any of the nuts in the future. The machine is great. It allows many different exercises and the convenience of the weight stack is great. If/when we want to do reps with weight that exceeds the weight of the stack, the included smith bar with separate weights (purchased separately) is available for heavier leg or chest workouts. The machine is sturdy enough for normal use. I will move this from its current area to our workout room when construction is finished. It is not sturdy enough to move to another room as an entire unit, so I will disassemble/re-assemble it when I move it to a new room. Customer service has been the best I have experienced in a long time. I ordered the wrong machine and they help me re-order this machine. I also received a friendly follow up to make sure the new machine arrived as promised. If you want a machine that will allow you all of the necessary exercises for weight training, this one will work well. If you are training for Mr./Mrs. Universe, you might want a machine with only free weights, but this one is incredibly convenient with the stack weights and numerous adjustments that support many different exercises.

I bought this home gym during a sale and got it for under a grand. Considering the price of the higher tier home gyms you get a lot for the price of this one. The frame components are strong and fairly well machined. Welds are decent and the paint is good. The cables, pulleys, etc. are all good quality not cheap flimsy plastic or stuff that feels like it would not last long. I’ve seen various budget home gyms where the manufacturer obviously went cheap and the end result is very lacking. This home gym kit is a great buy considering the price. Its not as refined as the much more expensive setups but then they cost quite a bit more. Pros - wide variety of exercises to choose from the frame is strong and should hold up well over time the pulley system is wrapped steel cable using mid weight pulleys the weights included are filled plastic but are thick plastic the included hardware and accessories are all good quality not low end cheap stuff (Bolts, washers, nuts, exercise attachments) squat lift bar feels pretty smooth and is a nice inclusion to this kit nice variety of exercise attachments (rope, chain, several size bars, rowing bar, etc.) Cons- diagrams are good but instructions could be better assembly hardware packaged numerically but tools included were not, could have been better labelled it would be challenging for one person to assemble due to weight of frame pieces seat is not adjustable for taller/shorter people butterfly exercise padding may or may not help because seat is not adjustable Leg press foot is kinda weird could be better designed and include skid tape exercise attachments do not come with quick release clips, comes with screw quick links for chain seat mounts were bent slightly in shipping but was still able to mount seats pulley system is a little clunky but still feels really sturdy, may smooth out over time Typically you can either spend a lot more for a more refined big name brand or go budget and risk wasting money on a disappointing kit. This feels like a surprisingly good quality budget kit. Room for improvement but not disappointing either. I recommend planning the assembly since it took me an afternoon to unbox everything, carry it down to my basement, and lay it out. Then after a few days it took me and my wife several hours to assemble following the instructions. I would not recommend trying to do it all in one day unless you have several helpers. FYI I’m 6’ and not thin (230lbs) and I can hop grab the pull up bar and the frame doesn’t feel like I’m risking the whole thing tipping over even on rubber mat over carpet.

I love this home gym set up! This company has done an amazing job at meeting all the needs for a gym rat who can’t make it to the gym, due to working night shift. It definetly holds me accountable and helps me to be consistent with my fitness goals. It’s an entire gym all in one. The quality in the product is very sturdy and easy to set up. This gym set makes it possible to work out almost all the different muscles in the body; both upper and lower. My favorite part is the smith machine. It glides smoothly and is sturdy enough to hold at least up to 400lbs. It also has a pulley system/ cable system that is adjustable to meet the needs of certain workout movement for certain muscle groups. If you want to be consistent with your workout routine and want a system that is a multifunctional gym set invest into this gym set. They say there are a few things you should really invest your money in and that’s your bed, shoes, and a gym set. In the long run it truly is an investment. This gym set is versatile, easy to put together, helps to keep gym rats accountable and happy. My family and I really appreciate this product.

Well, decent just went to really good deal after hearing from the sales team and manufacturer. They assisted in helping me with the issue. So far I’ve been using the machine without issue. Is it perfect for home use? It’s pretty good. Don’t expect it to feel like it’s professional gym quality because it’s not that, nor is it supposed to be. Will you get a great workout in and not have to pay a gym membership? Absolutely! Older Review: It’s a decent product for a home gym at this price point. The challenge is have is that the cord connecting to the weight stack is about 2 inches short so it makes it hard to adjust the weights. That's the biggest flaw. The other issue is the directions and the labels. This comes in several boxes and while the directions are pretty thorough it would be better if they labeled all of the pieces and not just the big ones. It's pretty big so make sure you have some room. You’re going to need about 15 ft in length, 7 ft in width and it's just over 7ft tall. It literally takes up over half of my 3rd car garage bay. Hopefully this company can send me a longer cord or a fix for this issue I mentioned. It gets worse I'd you add the attachments on the chains. If that was fixed I'd give this 4.5-5 stars for price point and 4.5 stars for function.

Just set this up today. It did take my husband about 5 hours to put together. There were a few times he needed additional hands. So far it seems really good. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the bench does not adjust. I’m 5’3 and although the leg press moves up and down I felt a little short for it. I found myself having to sit at an angle with my lower back away from the back of the bench to use the leg press. I will need to add a pillow or something to support my lower back. Haven’t used much since we just put together but so far everything seems easy to use. I sometimes feel intimidated by gym equipment and I don’t with this. Weights are easy to adjust and it seems there are many attachments and ways to use this machine. Also want to mention my husband is 5’9 and this works for him as well.

The gym was easy enough to put together if you follow the instructions. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. It took my wife and I a total of 5 ish hours to assemble and it is much easier to do with 2 people. One person could do it i suppose. Once assembled there are a wide variety of different exercises you can do. To be clear, this is not a professional gym quality but is a high quality home gym and I would purchase it again. I had one pulley that was missing a bushing so I contacted the company through the email listed in the directions. They quickly responded and sent out a new pulley within a few days.

Love it! Fits perfectly in the spare room at my house, the weights and bars glide smoothly and don’t hang up. It’s incredibly sturdy especially for the price and you can do just about anything with the included attachments.

Great functional trainer for this price point. Not the most comfortable for someone over 6ft tall because the bench is not adjustable and is really close to the leg press. I’m also 270 pounds, and the butterfly gets stopped by my belly when using it because of the multi functional bars attached. Main thing missing is a preacher pad, so I got a bench with preacher pad to use with the built in smith machine. The smith machine is the only thing that’s not connected to the weight stack. I got a good deal on Olympic weights from Walmart. Can’t really use both sides at the same time because it’s all connected to 1 weight stack. PLENTY of accessories included. For this price, I doubt you’d find a better home gym. Don’t pay over 900, it goes on sale all the time with ‘coupons’. Definitely not perfect, but it’s well built and sturdy.
