Excellent! Easy to install and great protection for the camera.

I was flying around my new DJI Avata 2 and I bumped into a swing set Pole and actually not the ND filter right off the camera. And I said to myself I can't keep doing something like that or I'm going to ruin the camera. So I went and found this bumper and it just showed up today. It's a solid piece of aluminum that fits perfectly. It gives you a good quarter of an inch protection from your lens without it interfering with being in the video shot. It came with longer screws and the torque bit. I think this is definitely a must for your new drone.

Seems legit (frame itself is nice) except their screws are so wonky and soft that they cross thread and strip VERY easily. TOO easily. Because of how they are buried by the screw holes themselves, you can easily end up like me with the thing stuck in a partially installed position and having to resort to cutting the entire aluminum screw passage off my drone and then jumping through hoops to extract the remainder of the screw. Would pass on this unless you can provide your own extended micro-screws. The provided ones are a total gamble and IMO, not worth. Mine ended up chopped up and thrown in the garbage and I have to say that's where I think this product belongs.

I had ordered this for my new Avata 2 drone by DJI. Let me start by saying that the drone itself is quite well made and the camera on the gimbal is top notch, so I truly wanted some additional protection there. These metal bumpers, a coated aluminum I believe, provide a great level of protection and create a custom look for your drone. These fit perfect onto the drone body and don't require anything special for you to install them. They provide longer screws needed to install these on the front of the drone. The only thing that required some minor modification because of these is the carrying case that I have for it, which required some minor foam trimming to allow it to fit again perfectly into its box. Sadly, I have tried this a few times, where I have had crashes, and the drone and camera are completely unharmed. One was into our metal fence at about 15 mph, 19 mph in a gutter around my house and lastly 17mph into a small tree in my yard. The ideal state is to not have accidents, but when you are training and training in areas around a bunch of obstacles, you need this style of additional protection. I also like the fact that these are small and light, so they add no weight on to the drone. Very happy with this addition on to my Avata 2. I hope that this helps.

Nice little kit.These are lightweight metal bumpers to protect your camera on your Avata 2.They come with screwdriver and screws. Installation is self explanatory. Had them on in less than 5 minutes. They are not visible to the camera while flying/filming.They seem that they would logically provide some additional protection in a crash, but thankfully I haven't tested that theory yet.Happy to give this expensive toy a little added safety.

I love that my drone is now protected even more, but you have to keep in mind that it is not damage proof. I've run into many a tree and it still knocks the drone down and scratches the lens. I don't think it's possible to fully protect a drone, but the guards do a pretty good job of almost completely protecting the camera. And they look pretty cool.
