Good reference book to use
Very useful book. You can find the information online, but we referred to it throughout the college search and could easily bookmark the pages we wanted.

Seems okay as a useful general guide
Everyone has a different opinion of what is the most useful colleges guide. This seems find for my grandson to get a general idea of various schools me might consider.

Great Resource for Beginning to Select Where to Apply to College
So helpful! Great for everyone (I used this myself decades ago and it's still been helpful for my two sons and a young woman who I helped apply to college -we're talking public and private school grads, each of them going into different fields, with different academic profiles and GPAs, some with learning challenges, others in the top 3% of their class, an extracurricular that shot the spectrum, different financial situations....) All the basic information one needs gathered together in one place and presented systematically in a pithy format to quickly start making a list of places to research with greater depth. This book enables college-seekers to cast their net wider than they might otherwise, while also helping them find schools that are a more refined match to their needs. Something I especially love are the lists that are helpful for seeing which schools align with personal values and priorities. This book has been a HUGE time saver. I'm a big fan!
